The students trailed behind Professor Maria as she led them to a spacious room filled with a plethora of magical facilities, reminiscent of a laboratory that a scientist would utilize. Beyond the confines of the room lay a vast and open field, where the students can test their own magic.
The students were in awe as they gazed at the magnificent equipment that surrounded them. They could hardly believe that they would be able to use such impressive tools for their studies.
"The facilities here are quite big."
"Damn, so we'll be using this open field in the future."
Professor Maria interrupted the crowd of students, "Now, we will be utilizing this field as your training ground for our class." Her voice was firm, yet gentle, and the students immediately quieted down, eager to hear more.
With a smile, Professor Maria walked towards a nearby table where a big glass ball could be seen on top. The students followed her, their eyes fixed on the mysterious object. As they drew closer, they could see that the ball was glowing with a soft, blue light, casting a warm glow throughout the room.
The professor turned to the students and explained, "This glass ball has the ability to assess your magical aptitude and determine which element you are most attuned to"
The students' eyes widened in excitement and curiosity, most of them had always wondered which element they were most suited for, and now they would finally have an answer.
Without further ado, Professor Maria gestured for the students to gather around the table. As they did so, she carefully lifted the glass ball from its stand and held it out for them to see.
"The students who are eager to assess your own aptitude and elements will take turns placing your hand on the ball while letting your mana flow through you," she instructed. "The ball will do the rest."
One of the students came forward, eager to assess their own aptitude and element. With a deep breath, she placed her hand on the glass ball and closed her eyes, letting her mana flow freely. The ball glowed brightly, illuminating the room with its soft, blue light slowly turning to light red. The other students watched in awe as the ball pulsed and shimmered, revealing the young student's true element.
[ Milia Christopher ]
[ Aptitude : 79% ]
[ Element : Ignis(fire) ]
"Fire Element!"
"Damn, I also want a Fire element, I hope I can get one as well."
"I heard that the Fire element is one of the more destructive elements in the codex."
The student named Milia was surprised as her aptitude and element was revealed before her. She had always suspected that she had a strong affinity for fire, but to have it confirmed by the magical ball was a thrilling experience.
As Milia stepped back from the glass ball, her face was filled with wonder and excitement. She couldn't wait to start practicing and honing her magic with her newfound understanding of her magical abilities.
"Congratulations, student Milia. you awakened one of the most destructive elements in the magical codex." Professor Maria said, with a hint of admiration in her voice.
Milia's heart swelled with pride at the professor's words. She knew that the fire element is one of the more dangerous elements as the professor explained in the class before. Although the fire element is one of the more common elements in the codex, it has proven to be one of the most destructive elements recorded inside the codex.
Her excitement grew as she remembered hearing about Luoyi's incredible legacy. One of the top rankers named Luoyi had soloed an entire monster wave with just a snap of her fingers, burning through hundreds of 5th moon rank monsters in the process. The fire had spread through the forest, burning everything in its path.
The more Milia thought about it, the more she realized the true power of the fire element. She couldn't wait to test her own magic in the field and see what she was capable of. As she looked out at the open field before her, Milia felt a sense of anticipation building inside her.
She knew that it would take hard work and dedication to master her fire magic, but the prospect of being able to wield such a powerful element was worth all the effort.
"Next student."

After countless other students assess their own aptitude and element, it is now Lo's turn to test his own element. Milia, including Leo, Lena, Mary, Eleanor and Aya watched with interest as Lo stepped forward, wondering what his true element would be.
'As I expected? Well nothing had changed from the original story, at least no one here became a Deviant,' He thought to himself while placing his hand on the glass ball, letting his mana flow freely.
The room was filled with silence as the ball glowed brightly and began to pulsate, Leo and the others could feel the tension building in the room.
( A/N : Leo and the others here are, Lena, Mary, Eleanor and Aya. )
As the ball continued to glow brightly, it began to shift through different colors, from red to orange, to yellow, green, blue, and finally rainbow before it settled on a deep bright blue glow
The unexpected result made everyone puzzled as they had never seen the ball shift through so many colors before. The students were unsure what it meant, but Professor Maria's excitement was palpable. She knew exactly what this meant - a new Deviant had been born.
A hush fell over the room as Professor Maria stepped forward, her eyes fixed on the magical ball. She never saw the ball shift through so many colors at once before, and she knew that it was a sign of something truly special.
"Class, it seems that we have a new Deviant among us," Professor Maria announced, her voice filled with excitement with a hint of envy. "It's a rare and incredible occurrence, and we're fortunate to bear witness to it."
Lo slowly opened his eyes as he heard a ding inside his head. He ignored the ding he heard inside his head and instead focused on the glass ball, waiting for it to reveal his true element.
