Passion To Be Found

It was a fact that Alice would gladly not entertain, and she smoothed her hand down her skirt while straightening her posture as they approached them. Claudia whistled only making more people turn their way.

"Can you stop?" Rowan asked as they stopped over by where she and Claudia were at.

Claudia shrugged. "You guys wanted an entrance, so I gave one to you."

Noah ran his hand through his hair, and Alice glanced over in his direction only to turn away since the light was far too bright behind him. He stood directly right in front of her, and she raised her eyes to him while keeping her hand above to shield in case.

He took the sunlight away from her instead casting a shadow, and she eventually placed down her arm from her eyes and brought her hands together to tell them about their plan that Claudia had brought up as the best course of action.

"Alright, lover boys. The game plan is the head over to Carver Hall to scope out the straggling underclassmen over there for the whole experience," Alice said.

"That's fine with me," Noah agreed. "It would be a nice place to record as well."

"Carver Hall will be a good place to relax in the meantime as well," Rowan added.

Alice nodded since as she had mentioned before, Carver Hall was the prettiest building of the academy despite it not being one of the main for located in the heart of the school. However, that was quite a subjective statement considering that all the buildings were state-of-the-art within the academy.

However, Carver Hall was cast off over to the side but still maintained in its best condition where she found Noah hanging out a while back, and where she might have continued to visit on the off chance that she was free.

"Yes, but we are not going to be taking any naps, are we?" Alice asked knowing that he would bite the bait.

"I might if we don't get a move on."

Claudia watched them carefully, but Alice wasn't going to bother to explain it straight to her since Claudia would eventually figure it out on her own anyway by her own devices that Alice would rather not bother with.

She had nothing to hide, but it also went along the lines of she had nothing to say. There was no relation between her and Noah. The best it could get was a classmate. And Alice was going to try her best to keep it that way for no other reason than not wanting to lie in the grave that she dug for herself.

"Sorry, sorry. But who's fault was it walking far with no destination?" Alice quipped making him recall the time that they went on their random sidewalk adventures.

"I wasn't the one walking aimlessly."

"What do you mean? I was the one guiding you."

Claudia pushed Alice away from Noah in the direction that they needed to go. "We got no time to waste, guys."

Alice looped her arm through Claudia's and leaned her head on Claudia's shoulder. "You only say that if the conversation's not including you."

"What conversation?"

Alice snickered. "What else would it be?"

"Hmmm, I would classify it as hot tension."

She instantly wrinkled her nose. "Where? Please let me know. Actually, wait. I take that back."

Claudia burst out laughing as they started their trek over to Carver Hall which was truly a walk in itself, but it was Alice's favorite one to do with the trail going through the forest that made it seem as though she wasn't at school. It was a popular place for students to head to even if they had no business being there just to study and whatnot.

She and Claudia still headed there most days to each lunch since it was the quietest spot to eat. The cafeteria there was albeit small but mighty in the sense that the workers there were friendlier as well. The environment there was a gem to those who wanted a break for a different pace from that found in the four buildings.

Alice liked a busy schedule since there was a lot that could be done in a day with strict discipline, but even she could appreciate what was offered at Carver Hall since it was like a little hidden nest out of sight. The shade from the trees covered them as they entered the trail, and Alice grabbed the camera around her neck to take some pictures.

She would love to get them digitalized later since she knew they were going to come out well. Most schools would never just hand out expensive cameras for a project, but the academy was certainly different in that aspect. Turning around, she took a photo of the boys straggling before putting her camera down.

"Guys, hurry up!" she called.
