Chapter 50: Killing Vampire Bosses

While walking and searching for the other team, Kaze and Takeshi found many dead aliens on the ground. Some of them got cut, some of them got blasted, and some of them got flattened and stuck on the ground.

Seeing those scattered dead bodies, caused Takeshi to turn pale, and wanted to vomit. Seeing his pale face, Kaze advised the little guy, "Don't look at them. Just walk pass, and try not to think about it."

"Aaahh!"

The advise however caused the opposite effect, as it reminded Takeshi to think about it. The kid turned away and run away to leave the place.

"Hei, stop running away." Kaze hurriedly caught up to the kid and stopped him from running further away. Suddenly, Kaze saw two aliens in human disguises. He frowned, and said to the kid, "Get back. Hide at that building."

"No muscle rider. No more fighting." said Takeshi

However, Kaze still headed towards the two newcomers. The two didn't talk much, and directly attacked Kaze.

One of the two moved towards Kaze's back and waited for an opportunity to attack, while the other one confronted Kaze with it's boxer's punches. He mainly aimed his punches at Kaze's face.

Kaze threw his punches too meeting the opponent's punches. After exchanging some blow to each other, the aliens started to felt some pain on it's hands. This caused it to frown. It then distanced itself for a bit, before going forward again with great momentum, and delivered an axe kick towards Kaze.

Kaze side stepped to avoid the kick, but right then, the guy on the back tackled his legs, causing him to lose his footings. After that, the one at the back hardened it's body like a stone and punched Kaze on his left ribs.

"Nnggah!!"

The attack, caused Kaze to flinch in pain. At the same time, the one at the front also turned into a hardened body. While it's partner attacked from the back, it also attacked from the front. While Kaze is still flinching, the one in front pulled his head, and delivered a knee strike.

Even with his suit, Kaze still feel great pain from that attack, and almost fainted from the blow to his head. In the critical moment, he rushed forward, and slammed his body towards the one at the front. Unfortunately, the guy at the back tackled his leg, and he fall forward, with his face about to hit the ground.

Pow!

Kaze hurriedly put his hands on the ground to hold his fall. However, the alien at the front delivered a punch to the back of his head, forcing him to hit the ground.

The two aliens didn't let the chance go. They give him a good beating, delivering some kicks, and punches. One of the aliens even took a car and hit him on his back.

"Hahaha. Now, you end is here. You killed my kind. So, you should suffer the consequences." said one of the aliens. It then took Kaze's X-Gun, and shoot him on his head.

"Huh!? This thing didn't work? I thought it worked when these hunters used it." wondered the alien. He already delivered a shot, but Kaze didn't die yet.

"Maybe they only work if the one using it was them." answered the other alien.

"Tsk, this thing is just a scrap then." the alien threw away the gun in disappointment. However, it didn't know that the shot already caused Kaze's suit to no longer function.

Plop! Plop!

Suddenly, the head of the two aliens exploded.

"Yeah! They got hit.! They really got hit!"

"Don't lose your focus. Keep shooting. These aliens may able to survive that."

More shots were delivered and the bodies of the two aliens were destroyed.

"Ah... finally they are finished." said one of the office worker.

Somehow, all four of the office worker survived. Now, they even managed to ambush the two sub-leader alien, killing them at that.

"Let's help him up."

Three of them hurriedly helped Kaze to stand up, while the last one found Takeshi, and brought him to gather with everyone.

"Are you alright old man?"

"That's what you get for trying to be a hero. Old man, you shouldn't have forced yourself there. Those guys are aliens."

Those comments caused Kaze to really fall unconscious. One of the office worker saw it and become worried. "Hey, he is out cold."

"What? Did he got too injured from those beating?"

"We need to get him to hospital."

"Wait the bomb in our head might explode. I don't want to die again."

"Didn't the one who look like a Leader says that we will no longer be limited if al the minions are dead, and we will be visible to the people outside?"

"Er... let's check the radar then."

They then used one of their radar to check the target. The one who owned the radar said, "There is only two more targets. Is it the boss alien?"

"Then, does it mean the limit is removed?"

"There is a way to find out. Let's find some pedestrian."

The four of them then brought the unconscious Kaze and Takeshi to find people. After running for a bit they saw some taxi and tried to stop it. The taxi stopped, giving the four a delightful surprise.

"Hey, take us to hospital. This guy need some help." said the man with glasses. Two of them then boarded the taxi with Kaze, and headed to hospital.

The other two stayed to watch over Takeshi. One of the sighed and spoke out, "Thank God, we are now not limited by this game situation. Now, we can really go home."

"Hey kid, where are your house? I'll take you there." asked the other man. For once these office workers were being diligent in doing good deeds. They are hoping that doing so will help them to avoid dying again.

Takeshi however didn't feel like telling them.

"Is he an orphan? Should we took him to the police station?"

"Might as well. Let's go."

The two then brought the kids with them, and headed towards the closest police station.

While these people were doing good deeds, inside the Gantz room, the time limit on the screen of the black ball slowly vanished, signaling the removal of the limit in time and hunting area.

"If you can stay alive after fighting against the Oni Aliens, then we will go find you and end your life." said Hikawa, one of the vampire bosses.

He and the three bosses then moved away and wanting to pass by at Kurono's side. However, Kurono didn't have any intention to let them go.

"Did I tell you that you can walk away?"

Tschingg!!

Kurono suddenly swung his sword horizontally, and slashed towards the four enemies.

"Arghh!!"

The sudden attack stunned the vampire bosses. They hurriedly jumped up to evade the slash. However, one of them still reacted a bit too late. His legs were cut on his knees. He screamed in pain, as blood are starting to gush out of the wounds.

"F@#k you punk! How dare you attack us." cursed the guy with the thin hair. He quickly turned his fingers in both hands into guns, and shot Kurono. However, Kurono easily deflected those bullets by swiftly swinging his blade.

At the same time, Kurono caught the one who got injured with his psychic powers, and used him as a meat shield. The other bosses didn't show any care and just shoot Kurono from three direction. The guy who lose his leg were shot without mercy, and died not long later.

"Hei Yamada, take out the Anti-Psionic Device." urged Hikawa.

The older vampire boss took out the same device that was used by the alien. As soon as he took the device, a laser beam was shot and blasted the device into dust. The beam even alighted Yamada's fingers.

"Ah! Hot!" screamed Yamada. He then hurriedly put out the fire.

"What was that?"

"Watch out! He got some kind of weapon that can shoot laser beams." said Hikawa. Just now, he didn't manage to see what kind of weapon Kurono used to shoot the device.

"I won't let you guys use the same device that those aliens used on me." said Kurono, smiling coldly at those vampires.

After that, he looked at the thin haired vampire boss, and said, "Now, you will be my next target. Let's make you the second out of all of you to die."

The man frowned as he listened to Kurono. He then pulled out a sword from his palm, and warily looked at Kurono.

Kurono smirked when he saw the vampires no longer attacked him proactively. He then rushed towards his second target. Seeing him swiftly approaching, the thin haired vampire constricted his eyes, and hurriedly slashed his blade at Kurono.

"I think you are making a big mistake here." said Kurono. "In close distance, I'm hundred percent sure that I can kill you easily."

While creating and invisible shield to hold the gunfire from Hikawa and the old guy named Yamada, Kurono pointed his left index finger towards the thin haired vampire.

Psshiu! Psshiu! Psshiu!

Kurono's left hand suddenly become nine hands, and he shot several beams towards the thin haired vampire. The man was so shocked at the sudden changes. He tried to evade to the side, but there are nine beams attacking him. He avoided four, but died after being hit by the rest five beams.

"This is bad. He can use strong psychic powers. Now, his hand can shoot laser attacks? That is troublesome." said Yamada with a grim face.

Hikawa also turned very serious after seeing those beams. Now, he knew the thing that destroyed the Anti-Psionic Device. He then said grimly, "Let's retreat for now."

The two of them then hurriedly headed out. However, something invisible caught both of their legs. This caused their expression to change. They hurriedly tried to cut the invisible hands that caught them. However, it was futile.

Kurono who just killed the thin haired vampire boss, turned to look at the last two bosses. "Guys, why do you want to leave so quickly? Our business is not done yet."

The two didn't answer Kurono. They just used their guns to shoot him. However, their attack was blocked by the invisible shield.

"You guys are impatient huh. Then, let's just end this. I wonder if I can kill you with this thing."

Saying so, Kurono took out the Buddhist Locust. He then controlled the acids inside, let it flew towards Yamada, and poured it on the old vampire's heads.

"Aarrghhh!!"

The instant the acids fall onto Yamada's head, it directly corroded him. Be it his hair, skins, or bones, all of it melted down under the effect of the acids corrosion. The slow but effective attack caused great pain to the old man, and making him scream agonizingly.

When Yamada's brain was corroded by the acids, all of his body system also stopped from functioning. The old man then died, and his body dropped down, while still being corroded by that acids.

Hikawa on the side, saw this scene and felt indignant. This is not the kind of death that he wanted to experience. Such death is too miserable.

"Well, that was really unexpected, and too disturbing. Don't you think so, last boss?" said Kurono looking at Hikawa.

Hikawa looked silently at Kurono. A moment later he said, "I have prides in my swordsmanship. Let's fight using the sword."

Kurono was surprised that this guy still wanted to challenge him. He nodded and said, "Alright. Although, I could kill you the same using the acids, it will be a shame for a last boss. Let's grant your wish then."

Hearing Kurono mention about the acids caused Hikawa's to subconsciously blink his eyes, and his fingers shivered silently. He sighed at how he was being scared by someone else.

Hikawa smoked his cigarette for one last time, and threw it to the side. He then took out a sword, and hold it in his hands. "Let's fight!"

Kurono silently watched Hikawa's movement. He then took out his Gantz Sword, and said to Hikawa, "Come."

Hikawa then rushed forward, and slashed at Kurono. As the slash was about to hit Kurono, he suddenly released his sword, and used his right hand to punch at the incoming attack.

"Exploding Fist!"

Boom!

The instant the fist and the sword met, an explosion happened, and the sword, along with Hikawa's body got blasted into smithereens.

'Beam? Not again.'

This was the last of Hikawa's thought, before he died.
