Chapter 72: Growing Pairs of Wings

As soon as everyone got teleported back to the Gantz Room, they all looked at Kurono. Right now, they all wanted to know the reason why were there more than one person who looked identical to him.

"Kei, you have some explanation to do here." said Rei, looking at Kurono with some expectation.

"I assume it's about those four who looked like me, right?" guessed Kurono.

Everyone nodded, and waited for Kurono's answer. Kurono then said, "Tensho, you are the reason for this to happen. So, you do the explaining."

Tensho came out of Gantz, and started talking about Kurono's clone. He explained from how he revived four Kurono from his accumulated score, and then how he send them towards the four different Gantz in those different countries.

"So, we can say that all of them is Kei. I didn't think that this could happen to him." said Shinozaki. "That would be really confusing if all of them didn't change their characteristics, and just came home as Kei."

"Uh, I don't want that." said Rei. "Although they are really identical to Kei, I still feel that they are different from the real him."

"Different? How do you differentiate them?"

"That... it's just my intuition. Maybe you can call it woman intuition?"replied Rei.

"Alright, let's forget about myself. Let's check on our scores." said Kurono. "Tensho, let us see the scores."

"Wait Dad. There is something urgent I need to tell you." replied Tensho. He continued, "There are some high command that was trying to override the programmed data in Gantz. It was trying to erase the rewarding system."

"What? Hey, don't let it erase that option. At least, give us our rewards for our hard work this time around." said Sakurai.

The others also become worried. This is especially true for Reika. She still wanted to be rewarded with the alien's ability. "Can we still get those rewards?"

Kurono also feel worried. He asked Tensho, "Can you stop those command from implementing those changes? Can you override those command?"

"I'm unable to do that." said Tensho shaking his head. "There is an Advanced Black Sphere that have the highest authority and control over all the Black Sphere in the world. Gantz have no authority to override those control."

"What do we do?" asked Fei.

"I still can hold it for some times before the command completely wiped the Reward Program." said Tensho. "I'll show the score, and you guys should pick your choice as soon as possible."

After that, Tensho proceeded to show the scores for Tokyo Team.

"If this is the last time we can use our score, then let me pick no. 5, and two no. 3." said Sakata. "Leader, please tell the name of the people to be ressurrected."

"Hold on. I just thought of a plan." stopped Kurono. He then asked Tensho, "Hey Tensho, can Gantz control the Advanced Black Sphere?"

"Well, all the Black Sphere are controlled by a similar person like Gantz. They could go out of their own Black Sphere, and control another Black Sphere, including the Advanced Black Sphere." replied Tensho.

"I see. Do you know where this so called Advanced Black Sphere?"

"That...let me check." Tensho then looked inside the database. Not long later, he got the location.

"The Advanced Black Sphere is currently in German state of Hesse, in German. The location is in Frankfurt city. However, there's no detailed location." said Tensho, telling the location of the main black ball. "Wait...Dad, Are you planning on..."

"Let's steal those black ball." said Kurono.

"Kei, that's too dangerous. What if they got some mechanism to stealing activity?" said Rei.

"Don't worry. I'm confident that I could get away without anyone noticing me." replied Kurono. "Tensho, can you send me towards that Advanced Black Sphere?"

"I can't. However, I could transfer you towards the Frankfurt city."

"That's more than enough. Send me to that city then. I'll go find that black ball on my own." said Kurono.

Tensho then proceeded to send Kurono to Germany. Before Kurono was fully teleported away, he said to everyone, "You guys can go on and get whatever you can from the score. Well, you all could just wait until I come back. In case I succeeded, we can still go on with the usual rewards activities."

After Kurono left, everyone looked at each other.

"So, do we use our points or wait for him?" asked Sakurai.

"It's the same. Let me use a hundred of my points to get the no. 5 choice." said Sakata.

Tensho did what Sakata asked, and radiated a light on him. A moment later, Sakata tried to activate his newfound ability. Suddenly, he turned into a giant wolf.

"What the f@#k!? Didn't I kill the four winged seraph?" cursed Sakata. He tried to transform back and managed to return into his own self. After that, he tried to turn into that four winged seraph, but still transformed into a giant wolf.

"I think I know the reason." said Reika. "Kei said that we will get the ability of the strongest alien we killed in our current mission. So, the giant wolf should be the strongest out of all the aliens that he killed."

"Sensei, she is correct. I saw you fought that wolf the hardest. So, I guess that's the strongest out of all your kills." agreed Sakurai.

"Shit! That wasted 100 out of my three hundred points." grunted Sakata. "I won't tolerate this. Maybe that seraph is the second stronger. It should be. Let's pick the no. 5 one more time."

Once again, the black ball radiated lights towards Sakata. After the end of the light radiation, Sakata tried once again to turn into that four winged seraph. This time, he manages to turn into four winged seraph.

"Yeah! This is it." Sakata become delighted after he get the ability that he wanted. Although he was a bit annoyed to waste 200 pts to get the ability, he still think that it was worth it to get this ability.

"Let me get the no. 5 too."

A moment later, received the rewards. He then tried to transform into a winged form. Suddenly, his whole body transformed into a giant head with a pair of wings.

"How do I look?" asked the big head. "Hey, why are you guys look a little smaller?"

"Alright. You can turn back now." said Sakata

"Hey, you haven't said anything about my transformation."

"Don't worry. You look...great." said Sakata stoically.

"Is it? Everyone, how do I look?"

"You look fine." said Rei. The others also nodded. Fei then said, "Alright. Who's going to be next?"

Seeing that everyone was not really interested in his transformation, Sakurai sighed, and silently transformed back.

Reika and Shinozaki also choose to get the aliens abilities. As they tried to into winged form, they both grew out six wings on their back. The both of them looked like angels when they acquired those wings. It looked even more majestic when they spreads out their wings.

"That's beautiful." said Rei, admiring the two six winged girls.

"If I knew there are aliens with six wings, I would have tried my hardest to find them." sighed Sakurai. He was feeling jealous of the two girls.

"The Nurarihyon Alien has the ability to transform into many form." replied Sakuraoka.

"Wow! That is even more awesome. Sakuraoka-san, I think, your acquired ability is even more awesome than ours." praised Sakurai.

Like everyone else, Rei and Fei selected the fifth choice, and get their ability. Each of them grew out four wings.

Fei tried her idea, and successfully grew out another pair of wings. "Yes! Now I got six wings. Though, this pair is coloured black. Well, it doesn't really matter."

"Hey, I want to try that too." said Rei, getting excited when she saw Fei managed to grew out another pair of wings. After that, she did the same, and now, she got three pairs of wings. "Yay! I got six wings too. hehehe."

"Well well, I got enough points. Tensho, give me no. 5." said Nuwa, a little happy when she saw her points.

When the Italian mission started, she and Euryale choose to not go hunting with everyone. They instead go to hunt separately from the team. This made everyone curious about what did the two Snake girls do during the mission.

"Alright. Here we go." said Nuwa. She used her ability, and suddenly, four pairs of wings grew out on her back. "Oh, I did it."

"Holy shit!"

"Eight...eight wings?"

"That's too awesome." praised Reika. Her eyes was turning bright as she looked admiringly at those white wings. Everyone else also admired those wings.

"Nuwa-san, what kind of creature did you hunt down?" asked Sakata.

"It's a secret." said Nuwa, smiling at everyone. This made everyone to feel even more curious about the origin of those four pairs of wings.

"Guh...I didn't manage to reach 300 marks." Euryale was a bit disappointed that she couldn't get to grew wings like everyone else. "Next time. I will be able to grew wings the next time we got a mission."

On a quiet street in Frankfurt city, a light came down, and Kurono appeared below a tree. He looked around to checked his surrounding.

"Where should I start to search those Advanced Black Sphere?" mumbled Kurono.

Just then, he remembered in the final Arc in Gantz, there were those people, who were watching the aliens invasion from a high building. These people are the masters who controlled all the Black Sphere in the world. They are also the one that forced many Gantz Fighters to involuntarily fight against the giant robot that belong to aliens.

"Should I check every high buildings in these city?"

After considering it for a moment, Kurono then decided to just teleport, and check the highest building first. He then picked the tall building in his vicinity, and randomly teleported into a room on the building.
