I watched as the dark gray Lamborghini disappeared down the block taking Alpha Liam with it. I groaned and tossed my head back when the car was out of sight. Why hadn’t I kissed him? I was so close to feeling what those lips would feel like against my own.


I hung my head low as I walked toward Faith’s house and looked up at her open window. I jumped up and grabbed hold of her window seal and pulled myself up.


“I was wondering when you were going to get here,” Faith said. She’s in her bed with her arms folded over her chest and a knowing smirk on her face.


I shook my head at my best friend and began taking off the jacket and the dress. I looked at the jacket and smiled; he had let me keep it and hadn’t said a thing about me returning it. Perhaps he forgot I had it just like I had. 


“Don’t start, I know how your mind works.”
