I felt like my world was shattering around me. Alpha Aaron was my father, and he was here. I was getting advice about my life from the man that I despised for so long.


“I have a daughter,” Alpha Aaron’s said.


His voice sounded muffled as my brain tried to comprehend everything that was happening. Time was moving too fast, and I couldn’t grasp anything. I had never asked for my father’s name, and Mom had never told me… Was this the reason why? Had she known that we would stumble across each other, and she kept his identity secret to keep us both in the dark?


“He’s my father? This is the man who walked out on you, on us?” 


The question was more for me than for anyone else in the room. I had sympathized with this man not even half an hour ago and now the truth was revealed. The woman he had abandoned was my mother. He claimed that she was his heart, but he left her as if she were nothing. Janine and my mother had both confirmed that truth.
