Chapter 12: Turned Away

“No.” Came the gruff reply of the alpha standing in front of her. “We already got word that Ash has been taken. And the last person to have interacted with him outside of us… Was you.” He growled in warning as his eyes flashed to a deep green color.

“I didn’t take him, I swear!” Thea shouted at the alpha, if one alpha knew of Ash’s disappearance, no doubt the others would know by now. “Why would I come to you for help if I took him? That would be like walking into a trap!”
