Arlo got very tired after a hard-fought battle. It took a moment to regain his stamina. The echoes of victory still lingered in the air as they basked in the relief of overcoming the formidable Spairo zombie. However, their respite was short-lived, when the survivors knew that their few comrades had been bitten.
When this realization hit them, they swiftly created a safe distance, prioritizing their own safety. It was when Arlo noticed a young woman, her tears streaming down her face as she cradled her bitten father. It was evident that she felt hopeless and alone, abandoned by those who had fled.
"Father, you can't leave me alone. I don't have anyone other than you."
Her father smiled and said" My princess, I don't think I can make it. Just kill me and go with them. You will be safer with them."
"No, I am not going anywhere without you."
Aisha suggest, "Master Arlo, I think you should make her your first wife."
Arlo asked, "Why are you suggesting it? That I should make her my wife."
"Master, can't you see she loves her father more than anything, and If my guess is correct then, she will be very good wife for you.
Arlo consider her suggestion and then said, "Okay, I will ask her if she agrees to become one of my wives.
While father and daughter were having a conversation, Arlo approached them and whispered in a low voice which could only be heard by them and asked the young women" Do you wish to save your father?"
The young woman with tears in her eyes nodded gently. Arlo said in a voice filled with empathy. "I can help you," he said gently, his eyes reflecting his sincerity.
"Let's take your father to a safe place first."
In the bedroom of a house, a young woman's father was sitting and said" Young man, can I ask you a favor? Please take care of my daughter."
After hearing those words from her father, the young woman cried even more and said" What are you saying?..."
Arlo said" There is a way to save your father, but can you pay the price?"
The young woman, named Elena, looked up at Arlo with a mix of desperation and confusion. And asked" What do you want me to do."
Arlo said with a serious look,"If you become one of my wives, I can save your father."
The offer he made was unexpected, yet it stirred a glimmer of hope within her.
Her father said in an angry tone," Young man, don't you think it is too much to ask her to sacrifice her pride in exchange for her father's life? And I don't believe you have a way to cure me."
Arlo smiled and said" Sir, I am not trying to deceive you here and it is totally her own choice."
"If I had any ill intensions towards your daughter, then I wouldn't have given her a choice."
From behind, Arlo placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I have access to some rare resources that can potentially reverse the effects of the zombie infection," he explained. "But it is not for outsiders. I need allies, companions who can support me and be by my side. That's why I ask for your trust and your willingness to become one of my wives."
Elena's gaze shifted from her father's pale face to Arlo's determined expression. She knew that time was running out, and the only chance to save her father lay in this extraordinary offer. She took a deep breath, her decision made.
"I... I trust you," Elena said, her voice resolute. "I will become your wife if it means saving my father."
Arlo nodded, acknowledging her bravery and resolve. "Thank you, Elena. I promise you, I will do everything we can to save him."
"And you don't need to worry about yourself. I am not going to force you to do anything you don't want."
Elena nodded at him and said nothing.
Arlo communicated with Aisha from his wrist device and said" Aisha, prepare a ward in the hospital and the antidote medicine. I have selected my first wife. And her father is bitten. Do it quickly."
"Yes Master, I am teleporting myself near you to pick them both.", And Arlo nodded.
After hearing their conversation, they both thought Arlo was mentally ill, but before they could ask him something about it, a young woman appeared in the bedroom out of thin air.
As Elena and her father looked on in astonishment, a young woman materialized in the bedroom before them. It was Aisha, Arlo's trusted companion and the one responsible for teleporting herself and the necessary supplies to their Space Realm.
Elena's father stared at Aisha in disbelief. "How is this possible?" he muttered under his breath.
Aisha smiled warmly, understanding their confusion. "I possess unique abilities that allow me to manipulate space and time," she explained. "Arlo has enlisted my help to ensure your survival."
After explaining things to them, Aisha uses her skill to teleport them into the space realm.
As Aisha gently guided Elena and her father into the hospital ward of the space realm. The sterile, futuristic environment contrasted starkly with the chaos they had just left behind. Arlo followed closely behind them, his mind filled with explanations he needed to provide.
As they entered the hospital room, Elena's father was carefully placed in a hibernation pod, designed to stabilize his condition and provide a controlled environment for the administration of the antidote medicine. The pod closed, enclosing him in a protective shell.
Arlo turned to face Elena, his expression filled with a mix of seriousness and compassion. "Elena, I need to explain something important to you," he began, his voice gentle yet firm. "This space realm, this hospital, and everything you've witnessed here—they are not part of the world as you know it."
Elena's eyes widened with confusion. "What do you mean? This place is real, isn't it?"
Arlo nodded, acknowledging her perception. "Yes, it is real, but it exists separately from the world you are familiar with. It is a hidden realm, an individual space created by advanced technology and ancient knowledge."
He took a deep breath before continuing. "The reason I told you this is because you have to follow the rules of this place and the first rule says that we can't let anyone know about this space realm, because it must remain a secret. It is a fragile sanctuary that must not be exposed to the outsiders and dangers of the outside world."
Elena's brows furrowed, trying to comprehend the implications of Arlo's words. "But why? Why keep it a secret?"
Arlo sighed, his gaze fixed on the hibernation pod containing Elena's father. "The outside world is filled with dangers, Elena. If the existence of this space realm were to be known, it could attract unwanted attention, both from those who seek to exploit its resources and from those who wish to destroy it."
"And headquarters strictly prohibit any information related to all this from being leaked."
He paused, gathering his thoughts before continuing. "We are few, but we possess the knowledge and the ability to protect humanity. By keeping it hidden, we ensure the safety and preservation of this sanctuary for those who need it."
Elena's mind raced with a thousand questions, but she could sense the sincerity in Arlo's voice and the weight of responsibility he carried. She realized that she had become a part of something far greater than herself—a clandestine fight to protect humanity and preserve a world hidden from the chaos outside.
"I understand," Elena said, her voice filled with determination. "I will keep this secret, Arlo. I will protect this space realm and everything it stands for."
Arlo offered her a reassuring smile, grateful for her understanding. "Thank you, Elena. Your commitment to this cause is truly commendable."
As the conversation settled, Aisha's voice resonated in the room. "Master Arlo, the antidote administration has begun. The process will take some time."
Arlo nodded, turning his attention to the hibernation pod. "Thank you, Aisha. Monitor his condition closely."
With Elena by his side, Arlo approached the pod, his hand resting on its surface. "We've taken the first step in saving your father," he said softly. "Now, we must be patient and hope for the best."
Elena nodded, her eyes fixed on her father's peaceful form within the pod. She realized that their journey had just begun, and she was prepared to face the challenges that lay ahead, in the world outside and the hidden secrets of the space realm.
Arlo and Elena found themselves back in the bedroom of the house they had left behind. Arlo looked at Elena with a reassuring smile.
"We will return there at night once your father's condition stabilizes," Arlo said, his voice filled with empathy. "There are still many things you need to know about this world and the challenges we face."
Elena nodded, her mind swirling with questions and uncertainties. She trusted Arlo's guidance and knew that there was much more to discover.
Arlo said," When we return to our group, pretend to cry and I will say that we have buried your father.
Elena nodded when she remembered that they couldn't leak anything related to the Space realm.
They left the bedroom and regrouped with the others who had gathered outside.
After everyone gained a general understanding of what had occurred, the actions they had taken regarding her father's body. Arlo said," We have to leave this place and head to the parliament house".
Together, they made their way towards the parliament house, a place where important decisions were made and resources were allocated. It was a strategic location that would provide them with valuable information and potential allies.
Upon reaching the parliament house, Lora, Ash and Tara decided to stay there after they got insurance of their safety within the fortified walls.
And Arlo left soon after that with Elena. Some were surprised by her decision but didn't ask much from her.
As the sun began to set, Arlo and Elena found themselves in a safe house on the outskirts of the city. It was a small, abandoned cottage nestled among overgrown foliage, hidden from prying eyes. The perfect place for a teleportation to the Space Realm.
Arlo and Elena materialized in the Space Realm. As they arrived, Arlo immediately sought an update on the condition of Elena's father.
Arlo approached Aisha, who had been monitoring the hibernation pod. "Aisha, how is he doing? How much longer until he awakens from the pod?"
Aisha glanced at her monitoring device, analyzing the data. "His vital signs are stable, and the antidote is taking effect," she reported. "Based on the progress, I estimate that he will be ready to emerge from the pod in approximately two hours."
Relief washed over Arlo's face as he heard the positive news. "Thank you, Aisha. Please continue monitoring his progress closely."
Aisha nodded, her eyes conveying a sense of reassurance. "Of course, Master Arlo. I'll make sure everything goes smoothly."
Arlo turned to Elena, a warm smile on his face. "Elena, while we wait for your father's awakening, I thought it would be a good opportunity to give you a brief tour of the Space Realm. It's essential for you to understand this place and the resources available to us."
Elena nodded, her curiosity piqued. She was eager to explore this hidden realm that held so much potential and knowledge.
Arlo, accompanied by Elena, guides her through the roads of the space realm. They walked past advanced laboratories, training facilities, a hospital building, a laboratory, a training ground, a Hanger, a communication office, a Garage, a Storage House, an Armory, an Arcade, a Restaurant, Workshop, and at the end, 7 Mansions. With each passage through buildings and facilities, Arlo explained everything he knew about them and their purpose from his wrist device to Elena.
As they reached the serene garden of his mansion, Arlo paused, his gaze fixed on the vibrant flowers and lush greenery. "Elena, this place is not just a shelter for us. It represents hope for humanity and hope for a better future. Here, we gather our strength, plan our strategies, and eliminate all enemies.
Elena absorbed his words, her eyes scanning the garden's beauty. She could sense the immense responsibility that Arlo carried on his shoulders—the weight of safeguarding humanity in the face of a relentless apocalypse.
Meanwhile, Arlo received a notification on his communication device. It was Aisha, informing him that Elena's father was ready to emerge from the hibernation pod.
A gentle smile appeared on his face and he said" Elena, your father is completely healed. Let's go. I know you want to see your father."
