"Hey Roderman, Do you feel what I am feeling?" Sir Solitar tensed up, not even blinking at all as he kept his eyes focused on the monster, who could no longer be reasonably called Faceless Lord.
He was no longer faceless and calling him a mere lord didn't do justice to his apparent status.
"Yeah, Axio definitely sent us to fight the strongest the Obsidian Queen has to offer..." he hadn't seen much of the other minister going all out, but he was perfectly right nonetheless.
None could top what had become of the minister.
"...This thing has divinity" without hesitation, both of them suddenly moved in opposite arcs to one another, the chaotic energy had dispelled, allowing them to freely approach the monster.
The awakened monster turned his gaze to Solitar, raising his hand toward him, his palm open, thin fingers spread out.
Trusting in his instincts, Solitar dashed away from his position as fast as he could before the monster clenched his hand.
Reality was distorted where he had stood, but unlike before, it wasn't harmless, small area had been changed, pieces of bark and dirt appearing in one another's position.
Had he been standing there, he would have been turned into the real life equivalent of a cubist painting, but with more some of inside and outside having been switched around randomly.
Roderman swung his blade at the monster again, but his attack was easily diverted, forcing him to back off.
Both of the men circled the minister.
Drops of inky, black blood falling from his body every now and then, he was eyeing them with a frenzied expression, his mouth left agape at all times.
A circle shaped area of twenty whole meters was distorted at once as the divine monster warped away in an instant, immediately demonstrating that the previous plan they had used to injure him would no longer work as he chained his teleportations without any problem from the very beginning.
Not only was the range of his visual distortions much wider, they lingered on for much longer.
Appearing before Roderman, the monster began swinging his remaining arm like a mad beast, knocking over the trees of his domain and uprooting large chunks off the ground with single strikes.
The attacks were crude and predictable in appearance, but they shared the sheer unpredictability animals and monsters of low intelligence possessed, a series of attacks without any thought put behind it.
Not only that, but the minister was maintaining the protective distortions around his body at all times and with the area still completely distorted, Roderman had no choice but to move away without counter attacking.
It was impossible for him to distinguish what was protective and what was merely visual here, if he made a single mistake, he didn't doubt the monster would put his now divine physique to the test and severely injure him.
Crying out loudly in the king's face, the monster's howl was disorienting and seemed to warp sounds.
Still, even if nothing appeared as it should, Roderman was still aware of his own movements at all times, he could move around as he wished in spite of all of this.
Noticing Roderman gaining some distance, the monster only grinned madly, to get over an obstacles, namely, a small boulder protruding from the ground, he had slightly jumped off the ground.
Whilst in the air, he wouldn't be able to move away.
Raising his hand, the monster prepared to warp space and reality, this time, physically.
Before he could fully enclose his hand however, branches full of leaves fell right in front of him, courtesy of Sir Solitar who had been following them.
The dark swordsman observed the situation.
The branches and leaves were messed up, but not Roderman or anything else.
Landing beside his good friend, Solitar quickly spoke:
"Can you do that silver clone thing?"
The king didn't try to argue that it was terribly weak and an absolutely obvious decoy since it was all shiny and silvery, he knew that Solitar was aware of that, so he simply molded his silver energy, producing a shape vaguely ressembling himself.
Nearly entirely silver and specks of gold, it didn't even replicate the armor or weapon of its creator.
A subpar ability created a long time ago when experimenting with his abilities, this sort of things were way out of his domain of expertise.
"Create some more, I'll keep the godly monster at bay" saying a few more words, Solitar took off as the monster in question seemed to be trying to understand what they were planning.
Seeing one of his two opponents rushing at him, he stopped wondering and dashed forward as well, warping to the exact spot he was at multiple times over to create an absolute mess of the area.
Apparently, stacking warps on top of each other was possible and it made one's eyes completely unreliable.
As such, Solitar closed his eyes and engaged with the monster.
Despite being in a frenzy, the monster still remembered how Sir Solitar had somehow severed Undying Prophet's immortality and then went for The Scourge without any hesitation.
It told him that this man without a system, with thus, a mundane human body and an absolutely regular sword, was somehow capable of cutting non-physical things, not just that, but the orc's immortality had been closer to a concept as well.
The possibility that the dark swordsman too, would be able to go right through his protective distortions was still on the table.
Just because he had waited for it to be undone the first time meant nothing.
He had to be cautious, losing an arm and being almost bisected was already bad enough.
With one arm missing, he wouldn't be able to accomplish the one move he had tried earlier, meaning that his catalogue of attacks had been hurt as well.
Screaming out at Solitar, the monster lunged forward but warped away at the last second as the man still managed to pinpoint his location anyways.
Roderman had once again disappeared, the same trick wouldn't work twice however.
"I'll make mother proud!" he gargled on black blood.
