Xua Yan emerged from Entropy, feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead. As he stepped out of the shelter, he looked around and noticed that the sun was already up, indicating that he had spent a good portion of the night inside Entropy. With a sense of purpose, Xua Yan made his way to the traps he had set up the previous night, eager to see what kind of game he had caught.
However, upon inspection, Xua Yan was disappointed to find that the traps were empty. No animals had been caught overnight, indicating that the traps were not as effective as he had hoped. Undeterred, Xua Yan decided to venture into the jungle in search of more powerful prey, taking advantage of the rise in strength that came with reaching level 7 of the body tempering stage in martial arts.
The jungle was a dense, dark and treacherous place, but Xua Yan was confident in his abilities and his level 7 body tempering martial arts. He was determined to find bigger and stronger prey that would challenge him and help him to grow even stronger. Xua Yan moved carefully and cautiously, his senses on high alert for any signs of danger. He was determined to find the level 7 or level 8 spirit animal in the jungle and test his skills against them.
As he made his way through the dense foliage, he soon came across a level 7 jungle buffalo. This powerful animal was known to be a formidable opponent, but Xua Yan felt confident in his abilities to take it down. He approached the buffalo slowly and carefully, being mindful of every movement and sound he made. The buffalo was wary, and it did not take long for it to sense Xua Yan's presence and charge at him.
The fight was intense, and Xua Yan had to use all his strength and skills to avoid the buffalo's powerful horns. He had to dodge and sidestep the buffalo's attacks, all while trying to get close enough to make his own. The fight lasted for what felt like hours, and Xua Yan's body was starting to tire, but he refused to give up.
Finally, Xua Yan saw his chance. He managed to dodge one of the buffalo's charges and get close enough to strike with his hunting knife that he made using hard stone. He plunged the knife into the buffalo's heart, and the massive beast fell to the ground, dead. However, after a grueling battle, Xua Yan was able to overcome the jungle buffalo and kill it without sustaining any serious injuries. Xua Yan breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that he had just won one of the most intense battles of his life.
Xua Yan took a moment to catch his breath before he started skinning and cleaning the jungle buffalo. He took all the meat and put it inside of the entropy and after that he headed back to his shelter. He arrived just as the sun was setting, and he was exhausted from the intense fight and the long journey back.
He quickly got to work, he took out the remaining beast meat from the previous day and started eating it. Finally, exhausted from the day's events, Xua Yan settled into his shelter and drifted off to sleep, ready to tackle the next day's challenges.
Xua Yan woke up the next day with a feeling of renewal, ready to tackle whatever the day may bring. He started a fire and cooked the remaining beast meat from yesterday, adding the jungle buffalo meat to the pot. He savored every bite, proud of himself for his successful hunt. After he had finished eating, he stored the remaining meat inside Entropy, making sure that it was well preserved for future meals, a routine that he has grown accustomed to over the past few days. As he was cooking, he took some time to do a quick inventory of his supplies and it was then that he realized that his stock of herbs and spices was running low. After some calculations, Xua Yan realized that he had spent 45 days inside Entropy, where time passes differently than in the outside world. This meant that the 45 days he spent inside Entropy was equal to only 3 days in the outside world, which explained why his supplies were running out so quickly.
Having come to this realization, Xua Yan decided that it was time for him to visit the city again. He needed to restock on his supplies and find new ingredients to use in his cooking. The thought of visiting the city filled him with excitement, as he hadn't been there in a while. Xua Yan was also looking forward to the journey, as his strength had increased significantly since his last trip to the city. He was now at level 7 of body tempering in martial arts and his increased strength allowed him to travel faster and with greater ease.
Before setting off on his journey, he decided to pack up the skins and bones of the level 8 and level 7 beasts that he had hunted earlier. He knew that he could sell these items and earn money, which he could then use to buy food and other supplies. The process of packing up the remains of the beasts was time-consuming because he needed to pack it in such a way that he could take it out of Entropy without anyone noticing.
He carefully wrapped up the bones and skins, making sure that they were protected from any damage during the journey. He was careful not to damage any of the bones, as they were highly valuable and could fetch a good price in the market. Xua Yan had become quite skilled in hunting, and he was confident that he could sell these items for a good price, especially since they were from powerful beasts that were highly sought after by martial artists and alchemists.
After Xua Yan packed his things and set out on his journey to the city. The journey was smoother than he had anticipated and he reached the city in less time than it took before. In order to blend in with the city and not attract attention to himself, Xua Yan decided to change his attire back to that of an assassin. He donned the cloak and hood and covered his face and due to winter and snowy season no one was able to suspect anything about him.
Xua Yan had a cunning mind and was always looking for ways to save resources and make the most of his opportunities. He didn't want to pay the tax for entering the city, so he chose to climb over the city walls instead of using the gates. This decision allowed him to avoid paying the tax and also kept him hidden from the city guards who were tasked with collecting the tax. This was also a reason why he changed his clothes.
Once he was inside the city, Xua Yan made his way to the old woman's shop where he had sold his items on his previous visit. This shop was a place where Xua Yan felt comfortable and safe, and he knew that the old woman would be able to provide him with the resources he needed. Xua Yan had brought the skin and bones of two beasts that he had hunted in the jungle, a level 8 and a level 7 beast. He planned to sell these items at the shop and get the money he needed to restock his food supplies.
Xua Yan entered the shop and was greeted by the old woman. He showed her the skin and bones of the beasts he had hunted, and she was again became both surprised and impressed by his skills as a hunter because of his age. He was only 13-year-old. She agreed to buy the items from him and offered him a fair price for them. He got around 700 silver coins for the things he sold. After that, as he was about to leave that shop
As he was about to leave that old woman's shop The old woman asked him if he needed any weapons, and he realized that after fighting with the level 8 beast, he needed a stronger metal weapon. He looked at the weapons available in the shop but didn't like any of them. The weapons were too heavy for him and expensive, which was not to his liking.
In his previous life as an assassin, Xua Yan was used to forging and making his own weapons. He particularly liked needle-like weapons, hidden knives, flexible and light-weight strong swords, and other weapons suitable for assassination. However, he was unable to find any weapons to his liking in the old woman's shop.
Xua Yan's weapons were not just tools to him but they were an extension of his body and he needed a weapon that would suit his style of fighting. He was aware that the right weapon would make a big difference in his martial arts training and a real fight in which he had to put his life on the line.
Xua Yan was disappointed that he couldn't find any weapons to his liking in the old woman's shop, but he knew that he could make his own weapons. He had the skills and the knowledge to forge his own weapons and make them to his exact specifications. However, he would need the right materials to do so, and that was something he didn't have at the moment.
He asked the old woman, "Can you show me materials through which weapons can be made?". She became surprised and asked him "are you thinking of forging weapons on your own? Do you even know about the materials?" Xua Yan simply responded " yes ".In response, she pointed him to a corner of her shop where he could find the materials. Xua Yan was presented with a variety of expensive and attractive materials, but he ultimately chose a raw iron material from an unnoticed corner of the shop.
He was familiar with the process of converting raw iron into steel and was confident in his choice. The old woman was surprised and expressed her concern that he had chosen the worst material of all to make a weapon. However, Xua Yan was determined to use this material and told the old woman that he wanted this material and told her that "this is the best material i can see in your shop and when I completely forged my weapon I will definitely show it to you." In the end, he purchased the raw iron and left the shop.
Xua Yan's decision to choose the raw iron material was rooted in his previous life as an assassin. He was skilled in forging and making his own weapons, which he preferred over the heavy and expensive weapons in the old woman's shop. He had a specific preference for light and flexible weapons that were well-suited for his style of assassination. The raw iron material allowed him the freedom to create his own weapon, tailored to his specific needs and preferences.
The raw iron material was not a popular choice among those in the market for a weapon. It was not as attractive as the other materials and was not as well-regarded as the good quality materials. But Xua Yan was not concerned with the opinions of others. He was a master of his craft and was confident in his ability to create a weapon of exceptional quality from this raw material. Xua Yan was pleased with the outcome of his visit to the shop and left with the remaining money that he had after the purchase of raw iron ore, he needed to restock his food supplies.
After he left that shop he was left with 630 silver coins. He spent 70 silver con on buying raw iron ore but he felt like it was worth it to buy this material at this of a cheap price as compared to others raw ores and materials.
