Firstborn of Titans Cronus and Rhea, Hades rules over the underworld and the souls that forever roam within its hellish gates. On her throne in Olympus, full of beauty and vanity, sits Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love. The two deities have very little in common save for a son named Damien, who is just about to reach his four-thousandth birthday.



Born a beautiful, pure-of-heart mortal on Earth, Ophelia Vaughn is a headstrong and inquisitive twenty-year-old college student who has never been able to find where she belongs in society. Having the purest soul in existence, how could she? She was something of an angel amongst heathens.

After all, he is the God of Temptation himself. His personality contrasts hers, him being full of vanity and arrogance, Ophelia full of angelic beauty and grace. The two are fated to meet by chance as told centuries ago in prophecy, as her purpose for existence is to be a gift for the God of Temptation and he would love her upon first sight.
