Chapter 139

"That's the city?" I gasped at the sight before me.

Before me is like what we pictured medieval times to be. There were Farmlands, Lycans with horses that were plowing the fields, stone architecture in almost perfect condition. It felt an insult to call the magnificent Castle a packhouse, it dwarfed any packhouse I had ever seen. My heart raced as we got closer, the Lycan's stopping to stare at us as we walked by.

The second we entered these lands was as if we had time traveled, everything was hand crafted and maintained. The leading Lycan was explaining the architecture and how they maintained everything as I zoned out. The castle called to me, I felt myself being drawn closer. I began walking to the barrier, it felt as if I was floating to my future.

"Jessy, this way." Ares called, immediately snapping me back to reality.

"Coming.." I mumbled as I started walking his way, my eyes struggling to peel themselves from the castle.
