One day Eric decided to push her too far, he was on the brink of having his life ended before Jessy's father stepped in to protect the Alpha's son. The councilwoman came to read Jessy her last rights, giving her a time to leave the pack lands by. "These lycans are useless! They haven't caught any scent or trail and they're refuse to provide any information regarding Barron!" I roared. 


"Ares.." Adonis shakes his head and sighs. 


"No one! Nothing! We have gone to every single out building that has been found in these stupid freaking files!!" I screamed out before kicking over a filing cabinet. 


"Ares! Stop!" Adonis yells trying to grab me. 


"NO! My brother! My brother is out there and who knows what they're doing to him or any of those warriors!!" I smacked his hand away and pace back and forth. 


"Our brother! We're all upset, it's been a month with not as much as a hint of him. How do you think his mate is feeling with him being gone with no leads yet? It's not just you Ares, we are all upset." Adonis grits out. 


"And yet I'm the only one doing anything!" I yelled as I stormed out the door.
