'Damn. I feel like a philosopher for questioning everything.'
But Meis tried and recalled.
Craig of Chronos. The elder brother and only remaining bloodline of the villain, Cerus.
By the start of the novel, "Haven to the Fallens" he was already proclaimed dead and was disgusted by the whole world as an evil tyrant who lets his empire fall to the claws of dark magic.
Another, his description was minimal even from the fanatic loyal subordinates of his that fought the protagonist.
But according to proclaimed 'Loyal Fans' of the novel, upon searching every words and chapter of the novel, two words describe him the most. Beautiful and Obssesive.
Beautiful, because everyone who saw him in the novel described him as an unforgettable and untainted person. Everyone assumed and believed he was a beautiful person.
'I still haven't seen my face yet. It's a pity I can't confirm to the speculations.'
The 'obsessive' description solely or may not only apply for the villain.
He was the greatest obsession of the villain.
The villain was said to be an emotionally disfunctional person. But it seems that all sadness, anger, regret, and gloominess can all be derived from Craig, his beloved(?) elder brother.
'The greatest obsession of the villain? Damn, I take back my words when I said he was just an insignificant character.'
Even then, I don't know whether to be surprised or not by the fact that Craig was killed by Cerus. And Cerus was the reason why the empire of Chronos has fallen to this state.
Craig's death caused my revival in his body during the supposedly failed dark ritual I came to witness.

*Tak, Tak, Tak
Everything-- my thoughts, my turbulent emotions came to halt when someone entered the room.
It was a normal servant who brought food. And yet in the immediate moment our eyes met, I felt unease and anxiety and wanted to scream for help.
"Your Majesty. I have brought you food. Please bear with me."
He put down the tray and positioned me to sit. As he supoorted my back with his firm arms, the glint of happiness and hidden obsession didn't escape my eyes.
He then prepared to spoonfeed me. As always, the foods were that appetizing that I never rejected.
But at that moment, I suddenly raised my hands and lowered the hands holding the spoon.
I was surprised, the body that never moved no matter how much I wanted, finally planned to move. That surprise seems to be shared with him.
"You still have the guts to show your unneeded self infront of me."
My mouth moved on its own and said such cold words in the most beautiful voice I could have ever heard.
"Your Majesty?"
It was a respond to me? With that flustered face and an innocent persona, he fooled a lot of people in the future.
But not me.
The flaw of the villain's Perfected Disguise Magic was that while it hid the true person in a fake person that came to existence only for the purpose of disguise, people who know too much about it could easily discern it.
Like me for example, someone who read the novel until the end.
THE END..
