Chapter 6 The Villa

The breeze was cold through the open window. It was late afternoon and they were in the middle of a wide grass field. we are almost home . are you bored ? said Kairo, chief editor of Oneshot magazine.

it's nice to see the scenery. sky said with a smile and settled comfortably on her seat. she ended up in kairo's car going to the hacienda, apart from being his editor, kairo became her lover. but because she didn't feel anything special, she confessed Kairo immediately said that he only feels like a brother.....a friend..... the young man accepted it and they became close friends.

in the hacienda chan, the ancestral property of Kairo's grandmother. He requested her to join him for a 15-day vacation at the hacienda. because his clans are planning to have a reunion and his grandmother's birthday is on the way so, And beside since all her assignments were done including the feature article she made about Astro's team, sky agreed. but her personal reason for going with the kairo and his invitation to come to their haccienda is deeper. she avoiding Astro she did something studpid to him, she avoid him she moved to another apartment and even begged Kairo not to tell him where she lives. Kairo knew well and followed her instructions without a single question ask to why, she didn't want to let him know where she was. while Astro went to the office of Oneshot magazine to look for her. to try his luck to find her but unfortunate the.luck he was hoping is not in his side.... but Kairo didn't say a word and even pointed where she lived. and she hopes that if Astro doesn't see her, he will give up and forget about her or even what happen she took a deep breath and let go of the feeling of emotion that she felt in her mind.

you are quiet, is there something on your mind? huh? she replied and look at him ,oh nothing. Kai looked at her doubtfully.Astro came at the office yesterday looking for you he says, Astro... She whispered she looks so sad and she misses him so badly but she had no choice but to avoid him his pressence.

he nodded, why are you avoiding him? Kai asked, she look away and think and make some alibi however she coudnt find anything to some up with lies and make up story she coudnt lie to him.. he knows her what she up too.. but she come out to her mouth, that astro keep courting her and she can't accept his feelings for her, that's all she can say to him. how ever kai felt that she had feeling for astro because the way she denied and the way she look at him before he knew he already knew.. are you are not interested in him? there was a hint surprise to his voice kairo voice

she bit her lower lip and says like this ...i dont like him hes not my type again she lied again and after that conversation sky and kairo is silent until they reach the hacienda chan...

the two storey edifice was reminiscent of old louisana palntatiion houses with wide porch, imposing white pillars and symetrical design the design of the top of the stairs going up to the front porch is wide. here we are. Kairo says he stopped his car in front of the villa. its beautiful! she said uncontrollably. the entire villa is surrounded by trees and wild flowers. the moss covered bricked added to its impressive facade.

let's go inside. said kairo to her holding her elbow. they went inside and were greeted by a stern looking old lady whom kairo introduced to sky as Ms. Madel is the butler of the whole villa.

good afternoon sky said to the butler

the old woman regarded her with a curious look, nodded her head and simply said follow me. she stared at kairo and look at him kairo just stare her and he was next to her. but it's just a shrug. they entered a large living room. in one corner there is an antique rocking chair.
