Chapter 302: Fractions

Yi Chen, hanging from a streetlight, had surveyed the whole panoramic view of Nightmare Town and caught sight of the 'residents' wandering about, but these seemingly human figures were distinctly abnormal.

For example, a woman hanging next to him on a streetlight always kept a torn, mammoth smile.

Or a passerby, his face completely buried in a newspaper, reflected a smile on the other side of the paper smeared in blood.

Or an old lady at home knitting sweaters, a closer look would reveal her yarn came from her own stomach, endlessly knitting her blood vessels into garments while smiling continuously.

Or a boy in the backyard lawn playing soccer with friends, they chose someone's head to kick around by drawing lots, continuing to swap heads depending on wins and losses.

Whoever scored would kick their head, and everyone seemed to enjoy the feeling, laughter echoing constantly.

Every resident was bizarre, but they shared the common trait of always smiling.
