Seven nervously passes a hand through his hair, pacing around the room while he waits for Mrs. Taylor.

There’s a knock on the door.

“Come in!”

The door opens.

“Mrs. Taylor! Hi!” He goes to shake the woman’s hand, studying her expressions to figure out if something happened.

“Hi, Seven. Thank you for seeing me.”

“Of course. Please, take a sit.” He pushes a chair.

Both sit down and Seven looks at her attentively, waiting for what she has to say.

“Has Vince talked to you?”

“Yes. I was thinking about going to visit him soon.”

The woman sighs.

“You’re almost a doctor now, aren’t you, Sev?

“I’m almost finishing my internship, ma’am. But I’m still just an assistant.”

She smiles fondly, but he can still see sadness deep inside her eyes.
