"There, there. Take it easy. There's more food than you can imagine, stranger." the woman softly said as she continued to generously spoonfed the bedridden Elena.
It had been at least ten minutes since she had begun nourishing Elena. And to her surprise, Elena had already devoured two full bowls of mushroom.
'How hungry she must've been. Though I'm uncertain of the journey this woman had gone through, it must've been a perilous one.' she guessed.
'I wonder when honey will come back soon…I'm worried the villagers might start assaulting him. Please come back safe and sound, honey…' she prayed.
"I'm home…!" Andre's voice echoed throughout the entire house.
Thankfully, her concerns were proven pointless as her husband had finally come back from his pursuit. Although she hadn't seen her husband yet—just by judging the tone of his voice—she had concluded that he was unscathed from his expedition.
Hurriedly, she emerged from the bedroom and launched herself towards him. Her lips met with his as they began kissing each other passionately—paying no heed to their surroundings for they were enclosed in their world.
Lily felt embarrassed to see the couple smooching in front of her and quickly covered her eyes with her hands.
"H-How despicable…" she mumbled under her breath.
While she couldn't witness the kissing itself in first person—the sound of their tongue caressing one another made her fantasies run wild.
Roughly around two minutes later, the couple's brazen action had come to an end as they all began discussing about the victims and what information they knew about them.
"I found the kid and that woman washed up at the shore. They were near death so I gave them some chest compressions." Andre said.
"Was she able to speak after being saved?" His wife inquired.
Andre sighed and said "Regrettably, no. She was so frail, she would probably have died if no one else had rescued her in time."
"U-u-uhm…s-s-sorry for int-interrupting…b-but…wh-what about…t-the kid?" Lily asked.
"The kid…I wouldn't say he's fine exactly. But his condition is a lot more tolerable than that of the woman. Not only is she missing her left arm, blood appears to be spewing out of her left side too. So, how about we focus on the woman first?" Andre suggested.
Both his wife and Lily nodded as all three of them entered the bedroom.
"Honey, you're going to have to get out." his wife ordered.
"Eh? Why?"
"It's inappropriate for you to see another woman's body naked, would it now?"
"Oh…yes, that's right. I'll leave."
As soon as Andre left the room, his wife began to strip Elena while Lily waited patiently for the process to end.
Both of the women were baffled by the things hidden beneath Elena's white shirt. Their eyes widened as if they had just witnessed that pigs could fly.
"H…how…?" Lily asked—dumbfounded by Elena's physique.
'Such a beautiful slender figure with little to no fat, one that is certainly every woman's dream figure.
'Yet such beauty is riddled with scars from head to toe. Some more prominent than others. A few seemed inhumane, possibly caused by powerful foes unimaginable to most.
'Even so…this doesn't make sense. Though I have seen women with scars during my time as a healer…the number of visible scars she possesses could already kill a grown-up.
'Just…what had she gone through to be left in this state…'
Both of the women continued to observe Elena's peculiar body. To them, witnessing the uncanny amount of physical scars visible to the naked eye was bizarre.
The both of them have seen one or two scars located on a woman—the highest one they have encountered had a total of six scars. Yet, the amount Elena held was unfathomable. It blew away all of their expectations.
"I-I think…I-I should st-start the pro-procedure n-now…" Lily said.
Andre's wife nodded her head and backed away as to not interrupt the delicate process that's required.
Taking a deep breath, Lily composed herself as she began to chant a mysterious language underneath her breath.
Her hands enclosing around Elena's open wound which was due to her sacrificing her left arms.
A soft green light encircled the wound as the flesh began to regenerate rapidly—hindering blood from freely exiting her body.
Elena felt a warm, nostalgic feeling during the entire operation. She reminiscent the days of her innocent childhood—living with her mother, and six sisters.
Lily sighed and collapsed onto the floor after she was done. Her stamina had entirely diminished just performing healing magic on Elena.
"Are you alright, Lily?" Andre's wife asked as she attentively helped Lily stand up.
"I'm…f-fine…" Lily responded exhaustedly.
"For now, let's get out." Andre's wife proposed.
Both of the women exited the room—with Lily having to rely on her crush's fiancee.
"S-sorry…" Lily muttered.
"It's fine. Besides, you didn't do anything wrong. Rather, you help fulfill my husband's tiring request. If anything, I'm the one that should be apologizing."
"...Thanks…"
As soon as Andre's wife opened the door—he was already standing at the front. He had been painfully waiting there ever since Lily collapsed.
The sound of her body hitting the wooden floor was loud enough to make him envision a horrible future. But, he couldn't just barge into the bedroom instantly as per his wife's request.
Thus, he resorted to waiting anxiously in front of the door. If for the next ten minutes Lily and his wife didn't come out—he would've rushed in already.
"Huh? Honey, what are you do-"
"Are you both alright!? Are you hurt!? Did something happen!? Do I need to get you both anything?!"
He bombarded his wife and Lily with questions. While it was quite annoying for Lily and his wife to see him being overly protective over them—they understood his concerns.
"...and…and…" Andre tried to utter another question. But to his dismay, he had already asked every question he had conjured regarding the loud thud he heard earlier.
"Calm down, honey. We'll answer your question one by one. So, for now, let's move to the kitchen, okay?" his wife reassured him.
"O…Okay…"
The three of them moved to the kitchen and one by one—his wife and Lily satisfied his curiosity with their answers.
…
"So…to summarize it all…Lily was tired after using her magical powers and fell to the floor?" Andre inquired.
"That would be correct, honey." his wife responded.
A relieved sigh escaped from his throat—grateful that his beloved ones were indeed unharmed.
"For now…Lily, you should head back. While I would like for you to examine the boy's condition, it would be futile for you to treat him in your current shape."
"I-I will…" Lily—having replenished most of her energy—strided towards the door.
However, just before she left—she told the couple something they might need to take into account for the strangers' survivability.
"I-I may not b-b-be that gr-great of a hea-healer…B-But…yo-you should che-check the w-woman's sp-spine…M-My instincts a-are telling me t-that some-something is w-wrong with th-them…
"L-Like I sa-said…I'm no-not a re-renowned healer so I-I'm un-unsure of th-the problem t-that lies the-there. I-I suggest bu-buying a he-healing potion somewhere. L-Later now, y-you two…"
