Shen Jiyu woke up, he yawned and blinked, the image of the room filling his eyes. He sat up and the slight movement brought pain into his body, he was extremely injured, the healer had most definitely helped but his technique was too poor. The aftereffects were still there, he took in a deep breath filled with spiritual qi to heal those remaining wounds and felt it dissipate. 


Ah! The shattered meridians. How annoying. It was not difficult for him to treat; it was just annoying. He needed to contact his subordinates to get him the item and to do that he needed to send Xiao Shu, A person he was still learning about.


Shen Jiyu felt a stir next to him and he turned. He had been too occupied to notice that someone was sleeping next to him, not really next to him but close enough. He must have fallen asleep while sitting next to him.
