The time machine was running smoothly, it almost reach the prescribed threshold of stabilization. But then the core reactor suddenly hit a snag; the core reactor had stopped spinning—which caused the scientists to be befuddled by what had just occurred. As they stood, staring at it, their eyes wide in awe, not knowing what to say or do next. They were like fish out of water as their surroundings didn't make sense anymore.
