Meredith, a new member of a Cooking Club, has grown up always feeling like she is waiting for someone. Being plagued by sad dreams that always left her waking up with a wet face, fear of loud noises, and a birthmark on her temple, she has always felt as if she is missing someone. 

Randall, her classmate and the new member of the BSU Swimming Club, has also spent his life looking for someone whose faces he cannot recall.

Until fate brings them together due to some circumstances that force them to pretend to fulfill Don Warrick dying wish which is a fixed marriage. Meredith accepted it because her mother wanted her to get marry as soon as possible for reasons she didn’t know and at the same time, to pay off all the debt left by her late father. And Randall to get its inheritance.

“PLEASE, let me go! What are you trying to do with me?!” she screamed as she struggled to free herself from them. 


Her shoulders were held by two men. “Miss, stop what you’re doing because we don’t have any bad intentions towards you!” the man on her right side said. 


“You have no intentions? Then, what exactly is this? Isn’t a kidnapping!?” 


“Not the other way around,” the guy on her left side added. 


She was adamant. “This is an abduction!” 


“Say whatever you want to say, Miss, but we’re just following orders.” 


“I said, let me go! We’re not rich! You will not get any ransom from my family!” she whimpered. 


When the two men tightened their grip on her arm, she let out a small gasp. “If we were truly evil, we would have gagged you and tied your hands earlier!” 


“And you also shouldn’t even see our faces right now,” the guy added.
