“We are leading in the properties business for the last three years and am glad you all put your efforts into bringing Martin Enterprise to this success” Charlotte took the lead and initiates the meeting.

“But businesses have their rivals and so do we have, I have heard from my sources that our rival company Thomas and Co. is approaching our employees to make us weak and also I have been informed that they might use hackers to hack our systems”

Denis, Lucas, and Derek exchange look with each other, rage could be seen in their eyes and expression.

“Denis, you spend more time here, so I am giving you this task to identify if any of our employees have been approached and if yes what benefits were offered, and further then you know how to deal” Charlotte sternly looked at her eldest grandson who nodded his head and assured her that he will manage this issue.

“Derek, you have to keep our systems safe, make efforts to save the system from being hacked”

“And Lucas, you have to come up with an idea to give our rival a test of the dirty game they want to play.”

They all nodded at her, while she moves to another topic.

“Also, Nicholas, I told you to talk to the management of City Hospital for acquisition. What is the status?”

“I am in talk with them and it will take a couple of weeks more” Nicholas rested his right leg on his left knee informing his mother.

“Make it faster” Charlotte took a sip from her drink.

“Acquisition of hospital?” her grandson questioned baffled at the information.

“Yes, it will be ten years of my daughter and your aunt Adele’s death anniversary, every year I donate money to charity but this year I want to have a hospital for her, she always wanted to be a doctor and serve people” Charlotte wiped the tear from her eyes corner.

The room went silent, the grimace on everyone’s faces. Marco stood and took his mother in his arm.

“I am fine, thanks. Nicholas, please do this fast.” Charlotte whispered to her son and stood to leave the office, she needed some time alone.

The airplane lands at Charles de Gaulle airport and announcements were made to passengers, Abigail and her friends passed through checking taking their suitcases, and walked towards the exit where Sebastien was waiting for them. Concern was evident on their faces.

“Abigail?” Abigail was ahead of her group, striding with a poker face, Kimberly called to her but her voice came out as a whisper which Abigail didn’t hear, Kimberly took long steps to match her steps and hold her hands from the elbow to halt her.

Abigail turned her head and raised her eyes in question.

“Are you sure we should in our steps on this land after what Sebastien told us?” Abigail shushes her, moving her gaze to other members of her group, signaling them to join, once all gathered in round Abigail spoke to them in a low but authoritative voice.

“We have landed, and now there is no going back. The moment plane lands our mission has begun and I am confident we will succeed”

“But Abigail if something happens to you?” Chloe asked in fear.

“We will see, though it won’t be easy” Abigail was confident, she ran her fingers through her hair giving her friends a short smile to boost their confidence she continued to walk.

Sebastien saw the time on his watch for about the umpteenth time, sighing he looked again to the gate from where they all will appear. He saw them in their pictures and saved them on his phone in case he couldn’t recognize them, shoving his hands in his jeans pocket he murmured.

“Come on, come out.” When he notices some familiar faces, he squinted his eyes, other familiar faces appear behind that one face, and he thanked God, approaching them by jogging.

They all were moving their faces to find Sebastien when were called by a man, turning to the source, their lips smiled and they all shake their hands with the man.

“Finally, I got to meet the man who is becoming my competitor” Dylan gives him a bro hug while expressing his thought, and Sebastien responds to him with a warm gesture.

“Yeah, Abigail told me she has a very competent detective and would not need my services that much” They all walked toward Sebastien’s car while chattering and introducing themselves to each other.

“Hey, Abigail, you are silent. Is it because of the news I shared?” Sebastien felt her silence the moment he approached them and couldn’t resist asking her.

Abigail shook her head, keeping her eyes on the windows, and observed the changes that had occurred in the last ten years, her eyes welled up with the memories of her childhood with her parents.

“Paris has changed sensational” Abigail commented and with that, her teammates followed.
