Derek raised his face and scrutinize his appearance, the man had worn a navy-blue shirt with black pants, and his dark blonde hair had covered his forehead he smiled at him.

“Good morning, sir” Derek nodded his head at him and offered a chair opposite his desk to sit.

“I read Michael’s email, he mentioned all your details also I read your documents I must say you would have been a quite intelligent student of your university”, the man smiled politely, taking the compliment.

“I would not take much time and will have a little conversation and you have to pass that for having this job” Derek looked at him questioningly and the man nodded feeling nervous.

“We are told that our rival company wants to take over us in this industry which he is trying for a couple of years, our way of operating is different than others and my opinion is that might have given us an advantage” Derek paused and liked the attention of the candidate.

“As I said they want to take our place, we have been informed of the ways they think they will succeed, and one is the hacking of our system. We have a very skilled and specialized team who manages our system and make sure their safety, we will not disturb them, instead, I have a different plan of work to do for this matter which will be communicated to the one who will be hired”

The man looked at him with confusion in his eyes but nodded anyway, Derek smiled at his expression and glanced at his documents reading his name on top of the page.

“Kylian, nice name it is” the man's lips curved upward.

“Thanks”

“It was nice meeting you, we have your details, if you are hired our team will contact you” Derek offered his hand to shake which Kylian holds looking blankly at him.

“But sir you didn’t ask anything just briefed me about your company” Kylian tried to argue hesitantly, afraid he is rejected.

“That was an interview, I told you we operate differently” Derek informed him his face serious.

“You can leave” Derek relaxed his back on the chair, and watched the man leaving his room in slow steps, once his door is closed, he dialed the number of Michael.

“I want to meet you in my office, 3 pm sharp” giving order to him he hung up the call and continue his work of reading the pdf file.

Leo was sitting on his chair, watching the view from his window that was a couple of feet above from floor, and reached to the ceiling. Josephine came holding chopped fruits in a bowl for him.

“Honey, I’ve cut fresh fruits for you” giving the bowl in his hand she went to close the windows blocking the bright rays of sun to enter.

“Let them open, the view is amazing” Leo took a piece of apple with a fork and bit it.

Josephine rolled her eyes and returned to sit beside him.

They were discussing politics when Zoe’s loud chirp took their attention, without giving them time to turn at her she hugged them from behind tightly

“Momma, dada I got the job at Austin’s hospital” releasing them and coming to the front she jumped in happiness.

The couple was happy seeing their child cheer.

“I’m so happy for you sweety” Josephine was proud of her daughter and so Leo.

“When will Austin be home?” Zoe asked her mother.

“He said he has gotten free early today so I think he will be home anytime soon” answering her she looked at her husband whose happiness and pride were clear on his face.

“We should prepare for dinner, a celebration dinner” once again hugging her parents she rushed to the kitchen to start preparing for dinner.

“She will never grow up” Leo commented at her daughter’s childishness.

“Yeah, sometimes it makes me worry” nodding at his wife.

“Don’t worry Austin will be there to take care of her” Leo satisfied her, Josephine smiled at her husband with love in her eyes, rested her head on his shoulder she closed her eyes to feel the moment.

In Martin Villa, it was time for dinner and every family member was sitting in the dining room around the table, Charlotte was in the head’s chair while on her both sides were sitting her son Marco and Nicholas with their wives Helen and Jane. Denis, Lucas, and Derek were sitting opposite her and her granddaughter Luci and Emily were sitting next to their mother.

The room was silent despite having so many people, the only sound that could be heard was crockery clinking.

“Any update Denis?” Denis was busy chewing his food, he looked at his grandmother and gulped down the bite taking a sip of water.

“I used my ways to snoop and didn’t get to know any of the news related to our employees being offered benefits” playing with a fork on his plate Denis replied to her.

“How many employees are checked?” Charlotte left the fork and spoon and intertwined her fingers placing her chin on them her complete attention on the boys opposite to her.

“We can say fifty to fifty-five percent” Denis wiped his mouth with a napkin resting his back on the chair, nodding at him, she shifts her gaze at Lucas

“And what you have to tell me” Lucas who was prepared already for it raised his head looking at her.

“Grandma I am working on it, Derek sent me the report of information on them and I am using my team to come up with the plan” Charlotte was not happy with the slow progress from her grandsons.

“Derek did you finalized or yours is also pending,” she asked him with scorn on her face.

“No grandma, I know what I have to do. With help of Michael, I have hired a hacker and I will use him” Derek responded to her.

“So, when are you starting?” Charlotte’s shoulder relaxed after listening to some good step.

“Tomorrow”

“Great, I am happy. And you both speedup your progress” scolding them giving no space she left the dining room heading to the library while other family members sighed releasing the breaths they were holding.

Abigail and her friends, Kimberly and Chloe were getting ready, today was their first day at the city hospital. Wearing jeans and t-shirts, with sneakers tying their hair in a high ponytail, they all were ready to go.

Sebastien has arranged a car for them which these girls will use for them only, Abigail took the driving seat, Kimberly sat in the passenger’s seat and Chloe slid to the back of the car. Abigail was driving smoothly on the road using google map for the direction, they hadn’t remembered the routes yet, though Sebastien’s mother offered them a ride, however, they don’t want to disturb her anymore.

“How are you guys feeling?” Chloe asked them swinging at the song playing.

“Excited” Kimberly turned at her and glanced at Abigail.

Abigail shook her head.

“No comments” Abigail doesn’t want to answer them.

“Hey, no cheating, tell us” Chloe punched her at her back, Abigail sighed.

“Not excited but not hesitant” Chloe scrunches her face.

“You are impossible Abigail” crossing her arms Chloe huffed at her.
