Saving Lukas

Ava stepped out of the taxi, looking anxious as she had only three minutes left. It shouldn't be too difficult if she didn't make a fatal mistake.

The kidnapper's address was located in the vibrant Brooklyn area, characterized by colorful buildings, classic architecture, and bustling narrow streets. An old apartment building with a mysterious entrance and steep stairs leading to the apartment on the 5th floor.

The apartment building had somewhat forgotten classical architecture. Its entrance door was a deep red, and there was a street lamp hanging in front, creating a mysterious atmosphere both day and night. The building had an old elevator that often didn't work, forcing residents to use the wrinkled stairs.

The permanent residents in this apartment were diverse, ranging from bohemian artists to busy entrepreneurs. Ava had never set foot there before.
