Musk was moving faster than even when he killed the crab and python under the magma, it seemed as though he was sinking into the ground and disappearing and when he appeared he was several hundred miles away already. This was indeed scary and that is to say that if he were to be set on escape, it would be difficult for anyone in the Nivarna realm to catch up unless they were using some treasures. 

For him, moving like this could be considered to improve his understanding of the White Deer Rushing through the Heavens. The skill seemed to have an aspect of space, as every step seemed to shrink space, but this was not considered much in the Nivarna Domain, because once one attained the Emperor(Nivarna) level, they could shift through space.
