Resonance

Inside the large castle walls was like walking into a massive city as many buildings stood stories high.

The roads were a smooth crystaline black material as many people walked and others rode different mounted beast entering and exiting the different buildings.

At this same time Lucian and Althea as if somehow in sync began to emit energy waves much more powerful and refined than when they fought the panther beast.

The darkness around Althea became more like a living shadow as it expanded and retracted with her breaths around her.

While Lucian seemed to be aiming more distant from everyone present as if he was becoming sesperate for the plane they existed on as though thier senses were being disoriented and deceived.

Almost in that same moment two cloaked figures entered the carriage like shadows unnoticed by almost every person they were passing along the roads.

In the same moment Lucian and Althea opened thier eyes seeing wide eyes from all the elders present.

The family protector Xander had entered the carriage alongside an older man that still looked youthful just like the premier ancestor.

"I am glad to finally get to meet you kids, apologies I was busy during the anual tournament, but it allowed my to reroute you two along a more correct path." The unknown older man spoke slightly confusing Lucian and Althea.

After a moment of thought an expression of understanding appeared on Althea's face, "Ohh you are the leader from the light family when the family went through the ancient war?" She asked in a questioning tone.

Hearing this Lucian's face lightened in understanding as well, as he began to think, 'Hmm he seems slightly different than the other elders I can barely even feel his presence.'

"You are correct young Althea, I am Prometheus, I will help guide you in your ability, it is a rare one in our light family usually only appears every couple of generations or so, but we've slightly changed our plans both of you will be able to train and work together." Prometheus spoke causing Althea and Lucian to exchange glances.

"I will explain, I had a premonition while I was away that had already proven itself the more correct path, you two share a unique resonance allowing you to effect the growth of one another positively, I am sure that you are both unaware but you shared a synchronized enlightenment and breakthrough just now." Prometheus spoke causing the two youth to exchange glances once again.

"I did just break through… you're telling me it only happened because she was here?" Lucian said while looking at his hand and clenching his fist before pointing to Althea in the seat next to him.

"That is correct, so how does this path sound to the two of you?" Prometheus spoke asking the two.

In response they both shrugged thier shoulder before looking out of the window in amazement at the massive city.

"Wait! Wait! We are already here?" Althea began to complain, "Why didn't you guys wake me up I wanted to see the solar system outside!"

Hearing this Adela gave her a firm look as if explaining without words before Althea remembered the coming calamity looking down at her lamp before her gaze returned to the window outside.

"You will be able to see it soon enough, this is where you will be living from now on so you may even be able to see it often." Adela spoke seeing that Althea had understood her gaze

They began to leave the city area of the floating castle and saw large fields with a massive array of colorful fruits and vegetables and herded beast grazing the open fields.

As they entered this area the carriage began to speed up again as the cluster of people began to thin.

Within a few minutes they had riden through a forest path arriving at a gate surrounded by trees, "This is where you two will be staying while you live here." The family protector Xander spoke.

The two looked into the brush to see two massive homes facing one another at the end of a crystalline road with a massive training platform in the middle of the two and a lake could be seen behind the training platform.
