LEGION APOCALYPSE

A beautiful grass field comes into view. Lots of flowers and butterflies fill the surroundings. Just as we observe the field, something catches our attention. A moderate cottage appears in the middle of this grass field.
This cottage is made of fine polished wood and the outside is decorated with flowers. This must be the home of an horticultural freak but alas it's not.
A young boy comes into view. He is running ferociously, his speed slightly faster than a normal human. He is panting heavily. He followed by a girl. Their faces are familiar. Young Anthony and Megan. They seem to be playing a game.
ANTHONY
I told you already...trying to catch me will always be fruitless. I'm way more faster than you. Hahahahahaha...
MEGAN
Not so fast....
Megan's speed is no where near that of Anthony. Anthony soon stops to take a rest but behind him is Megan at the height of her speed running towards Anthony. Megan bumps into him and they both roll down the plain as they laugh and laugh and laugh. They soon come to a stop with Megan lying directly on Anthony. They both stare at each other for a while
MEGAN
Anthony
ANTHONY
uh..
MEGAN
One day....just one day.....I will surpass you in everything. I will be more faster, I will be more skilled and I will defeat you in a fight.
ANTHONY
You keep saying this....and I don't even see you anywhere near beating me.
MEGAN
I will train...and train....and train till I become a...god.
ANTHONY
Good luck with that.
MEGAN
But you know what....
ANTHONY
What
MEGAN
Even if I become a god, I will never forget the one that trained me and the love we share.
ANTHONY
Oh....you mean...oh that's definitely me right...that's so swe..
Anthony is about to finish his sentence when Megan plants a light kiss on Anthony's lips. She stands up and walks towards the cottage we saw earlier.
ANTHONY
Hey what was that....oh
Anthony grins and follows her. As they reach the cottage, a horse neigh is heard. Anthony and Megan look in the direction of the noise and they spot a horse and it's rider coming towards them. The rider is a woman definitely in her 40s wearing a leather jackets and trousers topping it with a cowboy hat. On her back hangs a Benelli M4 shot gun. And several bullet rounds wound round her neck like a chain. The horse comes to a stop and the woman hops down.
MCLAURIN
What's you chickens doing out here?
ANTHONY
Mom...can't we have some air.
MCLAURIN
Y'know....I told ya to take the horses down to the river. Have you done that?
MEGAN
He was about to take the horses on a stroll when I came in. I'm so sorry if I was a distraction
Anthony's mom stares at the both suspiciously. The thought of "what have they been up to" floods her mind
MCLAURIN
Okay...okay....I get it. Now I feel guilty for being so harsh on ya. Anyways, I've got good news.
ANTHONY
What is it
MACLAURIN
The city police are recruiting. This could be a whole new opportunity for you guys to sign up.
ANTHONY
That would mean moving to BARDENCOCK.
MCLAURIN
That would also mean more money for Megan's family and ours son. We'll finally be able to build a better house and live a better life.
ANTHONY
Whatever... I'll think about it.
MEGAN
I'll be leaving now. See ya.
Megan turns and leaves the fields. Disappearing into the nearby woods.
Later at night....
Anthony is seen having a quiet time in his room. He is observing the coin we saw with him earlier (see chapter 7). He is observing it closely when a voice startles him.
MCLAURIN
The more you stare at that coin, the more confused you will become.
Anthony looks up to see his mother standing right in front of him.
ANTHONY
Mom! What's up with scaring me in the middle of the night?
MCLAURIN
Did you tell Megan about your abilities?
ANTHONY
No!
Maclaurin turns to leave when Anthony calls back.
ANTHONY
But why mom...why do you make me hide this. Megan thinks I am just some dude who just appears to be so strong due to training. She doesn't even know why I'm so strong and she trains everyday to surpass me....deep down I know she will not. Let me free her of her stress...let me tell her who I truly am.
Anthony's mom turns back towards her son
MCLAURIN
You will never tell anyone about your abilities son or those who killed your father will kill you too.
Anthony is shocked to the fullest.

Present Day...
LOCATION: BARDENCOCK CITY, NIGHT
As usual, it is cold and the city of Bardencock is in total destruction. Lots of destroyed buildings and burning cars. The street lights flicker like fire flies. It's like the aftermath of a civil war. The smell of tyres fill the air. It's like a city we never knew before.
INNER PART OF CITY, NIGHT
On the streets, we spot a bright light ahead. An unknown voice is heard. A voice so calm and cold.
UNKNOWN VOICE
Darkness is like wild fire.....
We see that the bright light is coming from a moving vehicle. A car to be precise. The voice is still heard in the background.
UNKNOWN VOICE
It spreads....
The car keeps coming closer and soon we can make up the car's physique. A cop car with sirens blaring.
UNKNOWN VOICE
And once it spreads.....
The car is coming closer to view
UNKNOWN VOICE
It becomes unstoppable....and it...kills
The car soon skids to a stop. The sirens still blaring and the lights still spinning.
UNKNOWN VOICE
Like a virus.....it needs a vessel.
The car sits there. No passengers in the seat. Has the car been driving itself? Who knows
UNKNOWN VOICE
And without it's vessel....it...dies.
The car still there. The engines still on.
UNKNOWN VOICE
Hence....the only way to stop darkness from spreading....is to destroy it's vessel completely.
Suddenly, the car begins to emit a bright glow. A glow so blinding bright. It keeps glowing until boom!!! The car explodes into tiny particles. The car just fades away after the explosion. What causes the explosion, we don't know.
From behind we hear a stampede. The ground is literally shaking and pounding like hell. What follows is inexplicable. A woman carrying a baby appears from a dark alley. She is screaming and yelling at the top of her voice as she runs for her dear life. Lots of people burst out of the near by alley where the car just exploded. Lots of people. Men, women and children all possessing pure black eyes. They all seem to be after the woman and her child who is still screaming at the top of her voice.
The woman heads straight to the road and makes her way down the street. The people are still after her. The street lights flicker and suddenly go off. The woman stops and looks around. The people chasing her also stop in confusion. They look around for what must have switched off the light. A voice startles everyone.
MEGAN
Okay y'all should just leave the poor woman alone....or should I say....LEGION....LEAVE THAT POOR WOMAN ALONE!!!!!!
They all look towards where the voice came from to see Megan and Anthony standing side by side holding demon alienating weapons. The people all respond together at once like as if they are being controlled.
POSSESSED PEOPLE
Foolish girl....you think your words can stop me?
ANTHONY
Remember she has an Exorcist by her side
POSSESSED PEOPLE
I sense weak power surging from within you. Did you ever create time to train again? I guess the answer is no....did you accumulate enough holy energy to stop me? I also guess the answer is no. You are not as strong as the girl that casted me out a while ago. You are weak and you....shall die.
The possessed people turn away from the woman and her child. They charge forward to attack Anthony and Megan. Megan corks her automatic and turns of the safety while Anthony grabs an arrow and aims
ANTHONY
Hang on Megan....this is gonna be one hell of a fight
MEGAN
Have you forgotten that I'm way stronger now....
LOCATION: FATHER AARON CHURCH OF EXORCISM AND DEMONIC EXPULSION, NIGHT
Back in the church, Father Aaron is seen controlling the demon chess board. The glow of the board illuminates the whole room and reveals Shawn and Stacy at one corner of the room. Stacy lies on a table with strange engravings and Shawn uses his holy energy to scan her body.
FATHER AARON
You must be worried about her....right?
SHAWN
I'm worried that the mole in the council is still out there.
FATHER AARON
Who exactly is the mole Shawn?
SHAWN
Have you heard of a story Father.
Shawn ceases to use his holy energy on Stacy's body and activates the coin he is holding. The coin begins to glow.
SHAWN
The story of a master who betrayed his student.
FATHER AARON
Nope never heard of that.
Shawn walks towards Father Aaron. His motions are unclear but we can feel a strange energy rising in the room.
SHAWN
A master who fucking sacrificed his student....slaughtered him like a goat and gave his glory to another goat.
Shawn points the glowing coin to Father Aaron
SHAWN
Tell me the truth Father, who is the true owner of the Hellace and why did it end up with me?
Father Aaron is silent. He just continues to move the chess pieces looking for a possible move to stop Legion. He is dead silent.
SHAWN
Will you fucking answer me!!!
Father Aaron shuts down the demon chess board and faces Shawn
FATHER AARON
You found Pachinko didn't you?
SHAWN
Please tell me everything he told me was a lie...please tell me it's a motherfucking lie.
FATHER AARON
I was hoping you wouldn't find out Shawn. Now that you have, it's time for you to die!!!
Father Aaron blasts Shawn in the chest with a revolve pistol. Shawn launches backwards and falls down to the ground with a bullet hole in his chest. His eyes begin to slowly shut down but before he completely blacks out, We see Father Aaron walk up to Stacy. He stands there and caresses Stacy's body.
FATHER'S AARON
You were such a promising child Shawn. So sad it has to end like this. It all has to end like this.
Father Aaron turns back to Shawn who is lying helplessly on the ground. Blood oozes from his mouth and the bullet wound. He is totally hopeless.
FATHER AARON
I thought you were intelligent Shawn. Think....think...I caused everything...basically everything. I caused Cassilon and Legion to attack you on that day you found Stacy, I linked you up with Pachinko to confuse your mind and I possessed the whole city to distract your friends....all my doing...all my doing Shawn.
SHAWN
Why...h..how (coughs)
FATHER AARON
I need power Shawn...pure power and she holds pure power. I knew you and your friends would stand in my way. To save the world....we need to make sacrifices...big sacrifices. I'm making one today by killing you and your friends. Once I extract the holy energy of Stacy, I will stop doomsday once and for all
Father Aaron corks the revolver pistol again preparing for the death blow. He aims it towards Shawn and is ready to fire when BOOOOOOM!!!, A gun shot echoes through the room
