chapter 6: A Visit From The Enemy

"What do you think?" I asked Brathor, who was sitting across from me.

"I think we should attack tonight. We're running out of time. We need to strike while the opportunity is still available." Brathor replied with conviction. I nodded in agreement.

"I have a few ideas for the attack. I think I know a way to break into the camp undetected."

"Let's hear them." Brathor said, leaning forward eagerly.

I began to describe the plans I had been thinking up. At first, they didn't seem to make sense, but after explaining each step, I was certain they would work.

"I love it! That's the perfect plan!" Brathor exclaimed.

"Are you sure? I'm not sure these will be easy to carry out..." I said, glancing nervously at the dark clouds gathering above us.

"Don't worry about that. Even if we fail, the worst case scenario will be that we lose some men. But we won't. Not if we have you leading the charge. With your abilities you might be able to take out half of them all on your own." Brathor said.

I smiled proudly at him. He really was amazing. I had never met someone like him before.

"I trust your judgment. If you think we can do it, then we definitely can." I said happily.

"Excellent! Now let's get started. I want to start as soon as possible." Brathor said, standing up and walking over to the edge of the clearing. He began shouting orders to his troops.

"Alright, boys. We're gonna hit 'em hard and fast. We'll go straight in, try and take out the leader. Then we're going to rush in there and kill the rest of them. Make sure you stay out of sight until it's time for the real fun." Brathor said, grinning evilly.

There were cheers of approval as the troops took their positions.

"Alright, let's roll!" Brathor called.

"Fire!"

An explosion erupted, sending a wave of fire rolling through the woods and across the ground. It burned everything in its path, leaving nothing untouched. Flames were already spreading everywhere, and the smoke was getting thicker by the moment. There was no way to tell where the fire had originated. It seemed as though it was engulfing the entire clearing.

"Alright, boys. You heard the commander. Get moving!"
