A Visit

Shihong's face hardened, causing Roulan to gulp and drop her smile from her face.

"Just make sure you stick to our deal or else..."

Shihong gestured to his throat as he made a cutting motion. Roulan gulps again, her mouth becoming dry in the process.

"Yes, of course."

She said this and bowed down, causing Shihong to smile widely and his eyes to disappear in the process.

"Ok, good, we'll go now."

Shihong turned around as he went towards the car, sitting down on the backseat with his daughter.

A continuously impatient knock woke Roulan up, as the girl groans and stands up from her bed.

She looks at the clock that is hanging just beside her door and sees that it's already 10 o'clock in the morning.

She sighs as she wakes up a little later than she usually does whenever Lanfen and Yu come into her space.

Last night was fun; they did some study sessions as the two helped Roulan with things she is unable to process in her mind.

Those were the times that Roulan wanted to treasure because they got to know each other more deeply.

The two stayed in Roulan's apartment for the night, as they finished a little later than they usually do.

The girl walks towards her living room to see it empty, with the blankets she hands to Lanfen and Yu neatly folded.

She smiles, as the two probably went out without saying goodbye to her. They usually disturb her sleep to say goodbye, but today seems a little different for them.

Lanfen and Yu bombarded Roulan with a lot of questions as soon as she got home last night. It was one hell ride for Roulan, as she wanted to avoid it.

She thought she'd be able to go back home before them, but she guessed a little late as they went a little earlier than usual.

Roulan went towards the kitchen, the knocks continuing to make her sigh as she grabbed a bottle of water before approaching the door.

"Ugh, what the hell do you want?"

She removes the cap of the bottle of water before opening the door widely, with the person pushing her inside as the water drops onto her shirt.

"Oh fuck! That's cold!"

She curses and looks at the person, meeting Yanmei's eyes looking at her. The smaller girl traveled up and down Roulan's body before smiling widely.

"Sorry, you were so slow to move."

She said this, welcoming herself into Roulan's apartment. The taller girl sighs before closing the door, fanning herself with the damp shirt.

"Why are you here so early?"

Roulan asks, walking towards her room as Yanmei sits down on the couch, looking at the interior Roulan has inside her apartment.

"How can you say I'm early? Lunch's about to start in 2 hours."

Yanmei answered, looking at her watch and seeing that it was already 10:30 in the morning.

She stood up and went to the kitchen, opening the fridge and seeing it fully equipped.

"I didn't know you liked meat a lot."

Yanmei said, looking up to see Roulan with a new shirt, as her hair seemed to be a little damped.

Did she take a quick shower? But Yanmei surely didn't hear anything happening in the bathroom.

Roulan went in Yanmei's direction before closing the refrigerator door and dragging Yanmei towards the living room.

"You're wasting electricity. What do you even want?"

Roulan went towards the kitchen again to grab a glass of water for Yanmei.

"You, of course."

Roulan stops before she scoffs and goes in her direction, putting the glass of water in front of the girl.

"I don't have anything but water to offer you."

"That's alright; I can drink anything you give me."

"Even poison?"

Roulan asks, suddenly having intrusive thoughts go through her mind. Yanmei hums as she grabs the glass of water before standing up and walking in Roulan's direction.

"What the... Hey! There's a lot of room for you to sit."

Yanmei sat down on Roulan's lap, bringing the glass of water towards her lips as she sipped the contents of it.

Roulan gulps before she looks away, becoming a little stiff in her place.

Damn, this woman will be the death of me.

Yanmei finishes the glass of water before putting it back onto the coffee table, leaning her body towards Roulan as she hugs the latter.

She puts her face near Roulan's neck and sighs in contentment.

"Hug me."

She said this, getting a little impatient as she couldn't feel the taller girl's arms around her body.

Roulan puts her arms around Yanmei's body as she tightens her hold.

"Why are you even hugging me?"

Roulan asks, her breathing fanning onto Yanmei's right ear as the girl shudders in response.

"I missed you."

"Oh well, I don't, so can you please stand up and sit properly?"

Roulan said as Yanmei groans and sneers before she removes her from Roulan's neck, bringing her hands onto the girl's neck as an alternative.

She tightens her hold on Roulan's neck as the girl coughs in response to her choking.

"You bastard can't be content, right? Even though you have that bitch, you should have shown me a little of your feelings!"

Yanmei said, her face becoming a little closer towards the taller's face.

She looks into Roulan's eyes as the taller girl puts her hands on hers, trying to stop Yanmei from choking her.

Yanmei removes her hands from her neck before cupping Roulan's cheeks.

"You're so cute when you're at the bottom."

She said this, giggling in the process as she swiped her thumb across Roulan's lips.

"I'll have you wrapped around my finger eventually."

Yanmei said before she pecked Roulan on her cheeks and stood up, walking around the apartment.

"I'll change into your clothing."

She informed her before walking towards the room Roulan had entered earlier.

Roulan sat there frozen. She looked in the direction as the door opened before sighing in relief.

"Damn, that woman is something."

She mumbles before she puts her hands around her neck, walks towards the mirror, and sighs in relief upon not seeing any handmark.

"If it's not her father, she'll be the one who kills me."

Roulan groans as she stomps her feet, realizing that she didn't have any choice but to go with the flow because it's a dead end.

-

"Good morning."

The sales lady bows down as the person nods, walking over to the counter and seeing that the item is not in its usual place.

The person raised their glasses on their head as they eyed the sales lady, and the younger responded by looking down on the glass.

"Where did it go?"

"We'll have to sell it eventually."

"Who bought it?"

"I'm sorry, but we can't reveal anything about our customers."

The sales lady said this, bowing down to apologize as the person nodded, looking out of the store's window and seeing a lot of people walking around the mall.

A man walks inside the store with a phone in hand, looks around, and spots the person before walking in their direction.

He bows down before pushing the phone in their direction.

"Your daughter is calling."

He said as the person grabbed the phone, putting it towards their ears as they heard a familiar voice.

"Mom, when did you get back here?"

The voice asked the person. The woman smiles before she turns around, walking away from the counter to go back home.
