Chapter Eight

Sam picked me up the next morning, it has became our daily routine now,"you look sad" "no am not" I said twisting my finger, he stared at me for long before speaking up, "how about some fun before  going to class" I looked up at him, Um....I don't know" I have class by 1' o clock, their was enough time to go out with him, but I was bother about having all these strange emotions around him, without giving him an answer, he change the car direction, I didn't know where we are going but I have come to trust him, wherever we are going, it would be a whole new surprise, he stopped his car at the foot of the mountain, " why are we here I asked, he only smile at me, opening the door of the car to let me out now standing by his side "we are going up there, he pointed to the top of the mountain,"Really, I asked in surprise, "You know am very good in sport, I don't know about you he said with that he took off what was he doing, I was still staring at him, he wasn't stopping and neither was I going to stand here and wait for him, thank God my shoe was made for running, I took off too, first, I jogged, seeing how far behind I was, I couldn't help but speed up, reaching at the top of the mountain I was now breathing fast, he was already lying there on the ground resting, how can someone that rich stoop this low, I collapse on the ground next to him, " how...can you.. run that fast" I said holding my chest, "I told you am very good at sport, he winked at me, I lied down next to him, wow it beautiful here, I said looking around, the atmosphere here was great, and you can also have the view of whole city here, how come I didn't know such a place existed" I sat up closing my eyes and letting the breeze blow my hair in different direction, "this is beautiful" I whispered to myself, I loose myself to the atmosphere, letting the wind calm my emotion, then i felt it, the warm hand on my arm, was it my fantasy, was I imaging it, if so I didn't want it to end, the hand smooth my arm gently, sending chill to my bone and at the same time warming, it came to my neck messaging it slowly before placing it on my face,I was shivering and at the same time excited, I didn't want this feeling to end, then I felt his lips brush gently against mine it wasn't my imagination, it was real even though it was I still didn't want it to end then he let go of me, opening my eyes now, I felt those solid eyes stare down at me, "I hope you're anger have all melted away" he asked smiling at me, I couldn't look away, couldn't take my eyes off from his face, " I am more than calm now"I smiled back, on our way down, we trekked in silence even though he didn't touch me again I can feel his hand still holding me.  "he...he..kissed me,I told Nancy during our free period, she gasps " really! she couldn't hide the excitement on her face"yeah, but it wasn't you know that long or...."
