Chapter Seventy seven

"Yey!! We're going on vacation" Sunny shouted happily, jumping from one foot to another "mummy where are we going, it going to be a big city right?  " yeah a very big city but it going to be another surprise". "Surprise again? I love surprise" she beams happily hugging the teddy in her arm. "Bunny did you hear that" she whisper to the teddy. 

"Remember when you did that" Andrew whispered behind me. "Giving names to your toys?  " yeah I did, it feels weird now" I smirked. "Not to her" he smiled kissing my hair when I was sure that we're have packed the necessary stuff will be needing we proceeded outside while Sunny moves ahead chattering happily.

Andrew collected the bags I was carrying and stuff them into the boot. While singing along with Sunny, noticing the car in front of us. I stop on the track to call Andrew's attention, we stop to know who was blocking the entrance to his house when the door plunged open.

"Of course, no one else would want to pull such a big drama if not Sam, he walked out of the vehicle with a wide smile on his face. " Going somewhere?  "Sunny go inside the car" I called out and she followed obediently "you should give me a chance to meet my daughter and not sending away from me" he smiled watching her go inside the car, he wasn't the only one in the car a man step down. His face was unrecognizable, I focused my gaze back at Sam. "Care to know who he is" he followed my faze when I've stared at the stranger.

"I don't think I'll want to know" I glared at him remembering the way he had made Sunny suffered. "And you'll excuse us, we're going somewhere far more important than you". " I'm sorry if I'm delaying you but you'll want to hear the news I brought for you". "I don't and if you don't move out of the way, you won't like what I'll do next" I felt Andrew's hand on my telling me to calm down. "If you'll excuse us, we have somewhere we need to be" Andrew spike to him with a straight face trying to keep his anger in check.

"I think you'll have no part in this...lover" he stressed and then burst out laughing "what a great combination". " I have every right because you don't deserve both of them in your life. He moved toward him pushing me protectively behind him. "You better leave here or you won't like what would happen to you next"

I watched Sam shrugged "you have such an overprotective lover, interesting". " at least he isn't selfish and a monster like you" I spat out watching him frown at my word. I search for the sweet and caring man that has since dated and fell in love with but the only thing left was the monster standing in front of us. "I didn't know that you would turn to such an unreasonable and cruel man". 

" you can say whatever you want, the only I've asked of you is to take custody of my child I even offer you a place in my home where you'll be close to her but since you're such a strong-headed I've decided to take a proper measure since you refused to do things willing.

What was he saying, I kept calm and allow him to go straight to the point? He beckon the stranger to move forward when the stranger started to move toward us. Andrew held up his hand to stop him but he brought out a brown envelop. "You'll want to read this," he said strengthening his hand for us to collect, Andrew stared at it for a while before reaching out to collect it.

I wonder what that was but I know that whatever was inside there wouldn't be good news, Andrew took his time in opening the envelope then we the paper was free from the envelope, he unfold it to read silently then I saw the mask of shock on his face without waiting for him to break the news to me, I took the paper from him the read.

A letter from the law court. "What's this". " you're summoned by the court, you're free to get your lawyer and till the case is clear you won't be traveling to anywhere only within this area you'll be kept under supervision till this case is close" The lawyer explain I stare up at Sam speechlessly, he was going this far to take the custody if the good he rejected I felt a wave of anger swept within me. I watched his smiling face and fought the urge not to hurt that face if his. 

"You're going this far to take custody of a child you rejected," I asked in awe. "It doesn't matter now, what you'll be thinking of now is how to get a very good lawyer and let's knew who's going to win" 

I sat with my head resting on the chair, I still was speechless on what happened a few minutes ago, how dare he want to take away my daughter from me.

I felt tears slipped out from my eyes. "Mummy do that made me angry again" Sunny walked toward Andrew and me to ask knowingly, I nodded resting my head on Andrew's shoulder. "I hate him so much I'm not his daughter and I"ll never be he made you sad" I reached out to caress her cheeks "Andrew we need the best lawyer we could afford, I can't afford to lose my daughter". He kissed my forehead before standing to make some calls  " Sunny keep your mummy company" she nodded and moved to hug me with her tiny arms even though I felt satisfied and happy. 

Here I was thinking that I would be able to have a few weeks with the closet people in my life but it all turn to a shred now, I can't leave until the case was over the case that would determine who was you going to take custody of my daughter, no matter what I'll win this case and laugh at Sams's face, this was my daughter, not his.
