Chapter Hundred and Seventy four

Your mum had to be admitted to the hospital when she lost custody over you, it was really hard for her, she passed th

rough a hard time after she lost you ... detaching herself from everyone including me.....

She gave up everything and also disown her own father when she sided and supported Sam, it was really too much for her Sunny, your mum passed through a lot because of your father.

After quitting her studies to be able to raise you, she found a job as an interior designer. Bought a house with her salary, she did all this for you and when she finally had you. 

She fell in love with you, you became her everything. The reason she smiles and after all these years, Sam came back and took you away from her after denying your his daughter and accusing your mother of sleeping with her school supervisor.....

After all this thing she passed through how did you think she would feel? Andrew asked staring at the young girl in front of him. "Miserable" Sunny muttered while tears slide from her eye "He's heartless....." She whispered.

"She was more than miserable, Sunny.... she pushed everyone away, quiting her job, locking herself away till the extent a physiatrist was recommended to her.

But she didn't go, instead she stayed in her house, locking everything and everyone out while living in total darkness.....I thought.....that maybe she just needed some time alone.

That she would want us back again but that not what happened, she locked everyone out even when I tried to reach out to her. She felt lost without you, it was her worst nightmare to watch them take you away from her.

Sunny sat and felt goosebumps on her body, all she wanted now was to hurt those people that have hurt her mum. Andrew walked up the get and wrapped his arm around her.  

"It going to be okay I'm just happy you found out the truth, Sunny wiped her tears and nodded. 

"So you need to go and meet your mother, she plans on leaving" Andrew informed her as he stood up to pour out coffee, Sunny watched watched his gentle move.

She watched him carried both cups back to her, one her himself and one for her. She wrapped her Palm around the coffee and felt alive.

It warm her in so perfect kind of way and then she have to remember that she haven't eaten since morning. She took a sip of the coffee and let the creamy liquid calm her nerve.

"How can I meet with my mum" it still felt strange calling her mother after all those years of hating her. "The old man told me that I only hat a day to make it up..... I think she's leaving and I need to meet up with her before she leaves"

"Then we have to find the airport that she's leaving from" "How? Sunny asked now scared, what are if she had left before they could make it to the airport? What if she couldn't meet up to her and apologize?

"What if we couldn't meet her....." How would She be able to cope if she didn't meet the woman, sho had suffered just to keep her. She won't be able to live a minutes or even stay in that house that had turned her life Into a living hell.

"Don't worry about that, we're going to meet up with her ....just have to make some call and found out which airport and when her flight is leaving.

Sunny nodded "I think the old man that talked to you, his name is John, your mum has been working for him for years, let's say their more like a partner now.....

I just have to get through with him and he'll give us the information we need, just keep your phone with you I'll call and tell you what I found out later" 

"We don't have much time.....". "Just leave it to me, trust me on this, you're going to find your mother and you both would finally unite". "I don't have any phone, she took away my cell phone".

Andrew stood up and left the room just to be back with one on his hand. "You can take this and contact me this night". Sunny hesitated but collected with a brief smile of appreciation. 

"Thanks". And for the third time that night, Andrew bent down and hugged her tightly and before he let go, he kissed her hair. "It late and you have to go home". "Can't I stay here?  

"It going to create a big scene maybe for your mother, so just go home and we'll see in the morning" she nodded as she stood to leave "Sunny" Andrews called while holding her lightly. 

"I think you should remain calm till tomorrow, don't do anything......". "I think I can handle that by myself, don't tell me what to do ..... please" Andrew gave her a slight nod, stubborn like her mother he thought.

"Josh would escort you" he said before watching her walked out from the door. Sunny felt her body freeze in an instant, it was really cold outside but Josh was sitting at the porch looking at nothing in particular.

Without even announcing her presence, he turned to her. "How are you feeling now?  "Fine, I guess" he nodded and stood up, Sunny watched him pull his jacket off and slowly he wrapped it around her. 

"It cold out here". She wanted to ask him why then he was sitting outside? Was he not cold from giving her his jacket? That he drink something hot when he get inside inorder not to get sick but she said none of this.

Instead she muttered "Thanks". She didn't feel like talking again, she have a lot in her mind but she was going to trust Andrew and wait till he calls her. He was going to trust him you take her to her mother.

"I'm sorry that I didn't believe you or give you a chance to say your mind.....I thought..... I thought they were perfect, I thought they loved me that's why I defended them. I never wanted to hear you or anyone else talking bad about them....

And now I just have to find out that I have been defending the wrong people all my life, I.... feel so stupid" she rubbed her arm and continue their walk .

It was late but she didn't care, she just wanted to stay away from that house as much as she can and hope that Andrew contact her tonight.

She just wanted to meet her mum, she won't be able to forgive herself if she didn't get to meet her. 

"Everything is going to be okay, I trust my father would do the rest" "Do you believe that? Josh stopped and turned to look at her. "Yes, I do" Sunny nodded and waited for Josh to stopped the cab that would take her home.

"Goodbye" he said when she made to enter, she felt the urge to hug him but instead she turned and entered the cab.

 All she needed now is for all this to be resolved, how could they keep her away from her mother all this years.

The cab finally dropped her in front of the house, she spent minutes standing in front of the house. A lot of things were going through her mind, Andrew would had wanted her to ignore them and behave as if everything was okay.

Like she haven't found out the truth yet but it was weighing her down, everything and if she keeps on locking up this anger she feels. She would totally go insane, both of them weren't the parents she thought she have.

They're all liars and cheaters, she made her way toward the house, she didn't bother to Knock because she already knows the house password.

Pushing the door open, she found half on the servant half frozen like they had seen a ghost. She didn't want to pay any attention to them, she walked pass them and headed toward the stairs but was stopped by the stern voice.

"I think you have a lot of explanation to do? She clenched her fist but still didn't bother to turn, it just annoys her even more the way they still act like her parents.

"Sunny, she turned just in time to find Tara running toward her. "I was so worried about you, why did you leave without telling anyone your letting me know, I ....I thought something bad have happened to you, you kept me really worried"

She hated the fact that she still pretend to love her, it disgust her and this even annoy her even more. "I think it high time, you get discipline, you act the way you want!  Sam scolded.

"You shouldn't leave without telling anyone, I really do care about you, going like to this would not only make me worry but give me a heart attack, theirs a lot of bad people out there and I can't afford to lose my only daughter to them"

"You're among the bad people out there, you're one of them! She saw her expression changed but now she didn't care or give a damn on how she feels before she used to cared do much and have to avoid anything that would make her sad or angry.

But now what she wanted now was to hurt her like she had never experienced in her life. "What are you saying? Tara asked confused, she have never in her life spoken to her this way.

"How dare you speak to your mother thus way! Sam made his way toward her in anger, she wouldn't allow her to turn to this monster of a person.

"She's not my mother and would never be! She stared angrily at the monster she had called Father all this years. "I'm really sorry if I had been harsh but this....is too much.....

"You're not my mother! This time she didn't want all the pretend again, she wasn't her mother and she should stop pretending. It was annoying and disgusting too "You're not my mother and you should stop pretending!

"Apologize! Sam ordered but the girl in front of him wasn't the daughter he had brought up "I don't think that's necessary! But immediately her father hit her across the face.

Making her blur fur some minutes. "You have to apologize for talking to your mum that way". "She's not my mum! She shouted and then the next minute, she was pouring out all the letters on the floor.

"You guys have lied to me all my life, you had told me you cared for me that you loved me but guess what? I found out that everything you had said and made me believe are all lies!!

"You don't love or care about me, I found out the truth, the whole fucking truth!!  She screamed at them.

Tara watched the whole card in the floor, she thought she out those away....she had done that then how did she get hold on of all this.

 "This you isn't what it seems, you don't understand any of those words.....it all a lies, nothing there is true!  "What about what I overheard, you lied to me, you told me that my mum never loved me and she had abandoned me just for money......

I was so stupid to believe you! "You read the whole thing all wrong!, It isn't how it seems" Tara tried as much as she could to convince her, she has to believe her.

She prays it wasn't too late. "If I read the whole thing wrong then, then what about what I overheard him saying to his friends.... Rebecca was all along the innocent one and the victim here, why you guys are the evil ones!,

Sam couldn't talk or try to defend himself like his wife was doing now, he knows the truth the has been already been out and the only thing he have to do now was to think of a plan that would make him not to loose his daughter.

It was hard but he wouldn't lose to Rebecca again without a word, he turned in anger and left the sitting room.

Sunny stared at Tara in disgust. "You're just the worst woman in earth that's why, you weren't given the privilege to have kids! With this she made her way upstairs in anger, frustration and in tears.

It just hurt her when she see their expression when she reveals the truth to them, what was she even expecting before.

"How was this possible! How did she find out? I think Rebecca have done this! How? Tara paced around the room asking herself the same question over and over again.

She was going to lose her daughter because of that woman, she thought that she was finally going to get rid of her but it turns out that she did more than expected.

And how the letter.....the servant had informed her earlier that the basement door was found open and then a stack of box, she had brushed that away without taking it serious.

Not knowing that Sunny has gone to a place she shouldn't be, she turned to her husband who was already laying on the bed in anger. 

"You're not saying anything or helping matter!  "What exactly do you want me to say?  "Say something! We'll lose our daughter if we don't do anything!

Everything is so messed up, you were the took her to the conference and you were so careless that you left her to overhear you conversation!

Sam watched his wife without saying a word, she was pissed but he was not going to give her any answers. He wanted to make her feel guilty because that what he wanted her to feel now.

And without replying her, he shut his eyes and pretended not to hear her complaint. She deserves to feel this way because everything was her fault fir be in being Barren.

Tara watched him fall asleep without saying a word to her, she feels as if she was going insane. She wanted to shake him up but that wasn't a good idea.

She later decided to get a drink for herself that might help calm down a bit and she would decide on how she was going to deal with this.

She wouldn't lose to Rebecca again that's just means admitting her failure and that was something she can never do.

She thought that Sunny was only angry because she was strict with her but she had ended finding the truth.

She dragged the glasses that was set on the dinning table and smashed them all on the tiled floor. "I'm not going to lose my daughter to you Rebecca! She screamed not able to control her anger anymore.

She was going to do anything on her power to convince Sunny, whatever she had heard was all lies. She only have to believe her, she was the only mother she has.
