Chapter Hundred and Eighty eight

 "Why don't you try inviting her over, I'll also like to meet her" Josh turned in surprise as he stared at his mother. "How...

" How did I know? Of course, I know that Sunny is the reason you don't want to travel back, it would be nice if you invite her over for dinner, maybe get to meet her for the first time"

"Thanks, mum" anything for you darling" Miranda lend in and kissed her son's hair. "We could also stay for her graduation?  " Sure" she smiled at him. "Now, you could come down and have your dinner" 

"Seriously, I'm not hungry mum? " I won't have that Josh, I'm waiting for you downstairs" she patted her shoulder and walked out of the room, it would be great having Sunny over for the first time to meet his mum.

He laid his back on the bed and texted her for the first time in a week, he hope he wasn't angry at him, he knows he had been a real jerk this past week.

The next morning, Sunny woke up to a text message from Josh, he had invited her to dinner tonight at his house. After ghosting him for a week, what was wrong with the boys? 

She just stared at her phone not knowing if she should reply or not, she was angry, she wanted to tell at his face. 

Why did he ghost her like the kiss they both shared was nothing to him but despite all this anger...she still missed him, she could still remember how he was standing over the board and drawing about a soulmate.

It seems so crazy that after that they shared a kiss, she still has a drawing of him that she had painted on the lake.

She scrambled down from the bed and made her way down to the kitchen maybe a cup of coffee would do, to calm her confused mind.

Without seeing her mother in the kitchen, she decided to fix one for herself, just the way she wanted it no need to stress anyone to make it for her. 

She spends minutes making herself a coffee and after that and after she was done, she made herself comfortable on the kitchen stool.

Sunny sipped her coffee while staring at the text messages, she doesn't know what to say or feel about it. What's this a way of apologizing "Good morning girl"

She was distracted from her thought by the voice of her mum "Morning" she allowed her to kiss her hair before going to pour herself a coffee. 

"I really need this" Rebecca groaned as she sip the black liquid "But a lot of creams" Rebecca made a funny face at her daughter. "That's how I love mine,  I judgment". " Of course, I'm not judging" Rebecca laughed and sipped her coffee again.

With just a look at her daughter, it was clear that something was wrong "What's the matter? She walked to see her staring at her phone. "This" Sunny slide her phone toward her mum "He invited me for a dinner after ignoring me for a week" 

Rebecca read the text on her daughter's cell phone "Maybe he what's to beg for forgiveness, you should give him a chance and you know you want to". 

"Mum! " I'm right? I know you want to see him but you're also holding into a grudge that he hasn't spoken to you for up to a week". Sunny sighed and allowed her mother to pat her shoulder.

"Just don't let anything bother you, let's just have fun today, we gave a massive shopping to do so you should be getting ready for it now" she kissed her before heading out of the kitchen.

She guesses, she could think about that when getting ready, maybe her mother was right or maybe she should just ignore him and hold onto her anger, he has been a freak this past week.

A few hours after breakfast, Jade and Gina dropped in for this shopping, it was really going to be a fun day for all of them.

Maybe she wouldn't survive this, maybe no one would notice that her husband had been lying for a few about her traveling and no one would come to help her out of this God forsaken hell.

She was tired to move, tired to keep on thinking, She had longed to see the light again since Sam had shut everywhere back. He had been too excited about his cruel plan and had thought by doing what he did that day that he would be doing her a huge favor.

It just added to the pain, that she was still left to suffer in pain. She moaned in agony as she tried to move her arms, they had become stiff and pale.

Her skin had broken but it was clean, her head ached is badly that all she must want was to shut her eyes and escaped this pain. It had become unbearable for her and she just wished that something might happen in her favor to save her.

She heard the door pull open but didn't even bother to know who it was, she wasn't interested anymore. 

The servant walked to her as usual and became her usual procedure, she wasn't tired of her. Tired to have her touch her but she couldn't d anything but submits to the cruel world.

"You know, he's evil, he does what he wants without anyone holding him down and now I think he's closing the line, he's going to do so worse.

He's...going to hurt my daughter, I can't allow him, I can't...but no matter how much I thought about saving her, I always realize how helpless I am in doing that...I can't help my daughter...

The servant paused at intervals to listen to her but didn't say anything, at last, she wanted to crawl into her have and makes sure she drew blood from her.

Like Sunny had imagined, the day with her mum and friends was fun, they both went to the mall to get dressed for her graduation and her friends, they also both few dresses to join and heels.

It was like one of her best days ever and after that, they went for a body massage to get their nails done. " This is the best day ever" Jade moaned in satisfaction as she sips her smoothie.

"Yeah" Gina agrees, they finally proceeded for a massive lunch, they all ate till they felt like they were going to burst, it was a funny and crazy experience. It was like a family gathering, where they all discussed and talked about lots of stuff.

"Thanks, mum" Sunny whispered to Rebecca as they made their way out of the mall, just her smile shows how much she appreciates it.

They made their way to the car and just as her mum was about to drive out, a car roughly pulled up in front of Rebecca's vehicle.

They sat in their seat for a while, speechless and not knowing exactly how to react to what just happened. Rebecca sat and watched what will happen next.

For a few seconds everywhere fell silent, the girls were on edge but they need not worry about anything. She reaches for the cold metal pressed to her side, he was ready to fight for whoever would try to harm any of them.

After what seemed like an eternity, the black vehicle in front of them pulled open and Sam walked out with a bright smile on his face. 

"What a wonderful surprise! He spread his arm " What's that man doing here? Rebecca heard her daughter's voice raging in anger. "Stay here and don't step outside! She ordered the girls before getting out of the car to meet him.

"I'm I not allowed to meet my darling daughter" the stare in Sam's eyes was cold but he maintain the smile on his lips. Rebecca ignored any of that and moved close to him until their inches away.

"If you move a step toward that car, I'm going to regret it". "No offense, Rebecca but I have just come to see my daughter" "She's not your daughter, how many times do I have to tell you that!  

" As many as you want Rebecca and just to let you know, you have lost the chance to beg for forgiveness or plead with me because I'll never listen to you again. 

"I've given you a chance and you've lost it...just like that" he did a busting gesture on the air, he bent to his side and waved towards the car.

He made to turn to his car but stopped and looked back at her "You have lost your chance, Rebecca, I just came to let you that, enjoy the rest of your fun days because it going to end soon"

Rebecca watched him as he walked back to his car and drove away, she finally headed back to the car.

"Are you girls okay? She turned to the girls that see their stoned expressions and Sunny's pale face. "Everything is fine girls no need to worry" she smiled at them and starts the ignition and made her way home.

Everything is going to be alright, she had increased the security around the house and also her personal bodyguard watching out for any danger, so she wouldn't be intimidated by him anymore.

So, guys, I decided not to finish it last month because I realized that's a lot more to put down.😊😊😊
