Chapter Two hundred and four

They both walked into the club with one of John's men, John had called earlier stating that something had come up at the office that demanded his attention, so he sent one of his men and the driver to go drive them here.

Even as they walked into the loud club, she still can't get her mind off what Tara told her, there was a missing link somewhere.

Something that connects to all of this, if Tara was innocent in all of this then who could be behind her daughter's disappearance and what happened to Sam?

Was it the same person that did this or was it both incidents coincident, Sam had done what exactly Tara had said he did, so now what had happened that night? Was it related to Sam's plans that Tara had told her about and looking at this now, Tara had more reason to do all this?

But she had pleaded not guilty and given her reasons and secret, so who's behind this now?!!

"You think too much..." She felt Andrew's hand on her back pulling her back to reality. "Let's finish up what we have here first before we could do anything else". Becca nodded and tried to get herself together that was the only thing she could now.

They made their way to the counter while both men order a glass of whiskey, she just didn't feel like taking anything.

She just wanted to get this over with and slowly she found herself looking around the club, everything was disturbing, the crazy loud music, cigarette, alcohol.

she still remembers the last time she went to the club and her experience and it was what changed her life. She closed her eyes and tried to stay afloat like she had been doing for a week now, it was like her head was splitting apart.

And she was trying her best to control the headache, the splitting headache as she listen to all the noise. " Are you okay? She heard Andrew asking but his voice seem far-fetched and it was like she was fighting for her life, for her to stay awake and get through this.

"Yes, I'm fine" she finally opened her eyes and smiled sadly "Just taking my time". " Are you sure, you're fine, we can finish things up here if you need to take a rest"

"I don't need to take any rest, Andrew, I need to be here, I can't just go home and sleep while my daily life is still at stake". Andrew nodded knowing it was a waste of time to convince her on taking the night off.

"So how do we find this girl?  "We only need to ask around and we should be careful about who we asked because if she knows we're looking for her, she might escape thinking that was in danger"

"Then who do we ask? Andrew looked around in the crowd and finally beckoned a female club staff to come over, she was wearing a black mini skirt and a yellow top that shows much of her cleavage with some high heels Rebecca kept wondering how she walk in those.

"Hi" she smiled sweetly at Andrew snd ignored her totally, she watched her move close to him then slowly bent toward him with a cunning smile on her face.

"Do you need anything? Rebecca clench her fist in anger even though she wasn't in any relationship with Andrew, she still felt it was a great insult for her to flirt with him knowing clearly that a girl was beside him.

But she has to keep her calm if ever they could get the information they needed from her.

" Yeah, I do" Andrew bent over to whisper to her, how could be even not feel disgusted by the feel of the girl's hand on her skin? "So tell me what you want or are you shy to say it in front of her" Finally she noticed that she was sitting next to him, Rebecca tried his best not to roll her eyes.

Andrew felt unaffected by her behavior and instead, he pulled her close and whispered in her eyes for a while, Rebecca noticed as the girl's expression changed, of course, she had realized that Andrew was here for another business.

She watched him reach for his pocket then brought out some cash and handed it to her, her face lit up. "I'll be right back" she kissed him on the cheek before walking away.

When Andrew finally turned to her, Rebecca raised her eyebrows at him which only led him to shrug "You know how to learn how to play to get what you wanted". "So, how long are we going to wait for her". "As long as it takes, Becca, this girl now is our only chance of getting to Sunny"

Rebecca crossed her fingers, she didn't want to be disappointed this time, she want to find her daughter. It has been a week now and she hasn't heard from her or known how she's coping for goodness sake, her daughter was suffering from asthma...

How long could she keep enduring the type of treatment they were giving to her there, it was just too hard thinking about it. "Hey, listen here..." Andrew reached for her hand.

"We're so close to finding the truth, so don't give up". "I'll never give up on my daughter". "Good, so let's have faith that we'll go to find this guy and he...is going to lead us straight to Sunny"

Just as she looked up, she saw the girl approaching them with a bright smile but she was only staring at Andrew, maybe to get him to change his mind.

She just wished that she brought good news for them "She's at the dressing room by your right" she said and made to turn but how did she expect them to find her in a dressing room if they don't know what this girl they're talking about really look like.

"I'm sure, they'll be a ton of girls in the dressing room, how are we supposed to recognize her". " You don't even know what she looks like? What do you guys even want from her, she's a good girl all I know?  "I said no question asked? Isn't that what we agreed on me?

" Fine, she's the one with pink hair...you can find her then, this is all your money could do" they watched her leave and then made their way to the hallway where she had pointed out that the dressing room was.

"I just hoped that there won't be thousands of girls with punk hair". They finally stopped in front of the girl's dressing room. "We'll stay out here and wait for you" Andrew suggested and she had to agree to that, she just want this to be over with.

All this drama and trauma, she pushed the black door open and step into what looked like three tiny closets packed together.

There were dresses everywhere and on the table... It was packed with all different types of makeup, and she felt suffocated just standing there because there were a lot of people in this small room and the worst part is there was only one fan in the room instead of producing a fresh breeze.

It was just accumulating heat and spreading it over the whole room, she wanted to get out of here as soon as she can.

Just find the girl and she'll be out of here, Rebecca took her time to look around the room just then she find a girl with pink hair looking at herself in the mirror and dusting her face with brown powder.

She just has to get her to follow her out...

"You've been out all day, where have you been? Josh turned to find her mum standing at his door " Nowhere" he answered and turned back to watch the street like he had been doing this day hoping that he'll somehow find Sunny walking by his house or in a way surprise him by coming to visit him.

"You've been out looking for her right?  " What else I'm I supposed to do mum? What else I'm I supposed to do if not to look for her because her disappearance is just my fault, I'm the one to blame!!

"That's what you've been telling yourself all this while? That's what happened is it your fault? "So, I'm supposed to lie then and tell myself something else?

" Josh, nobody is asking you to lie or whatsoever, you're putting yourself in a tough spot that would only do nothing but crush you, and being out there could lead you to unnecessary danger, the police are already out there looking for her"

"I'm putting myself in danger? What about Sunny then, she's already in danger, and no one even the police have found out". "They're trying their best Josh, how do you think Sunny would find when she finally returns to see that something bad had happened to you, do you think she'll be happy?

" I'll never stop till I found her, I owe her that because I have a lot of things to apologize to her for". "You might be getting close to something maybe but do you think whoever is holding her hostage would see that allow you to live?!!

I'm your mother Josh and I'm worried about you, your father is out there also searching for her, and all we have to fo is go pray that they get back with her, even though I did know her that much but I also consider her my daughter.

I'm sad too, I'm also devastated, how would you think I'll feel if something bad happen to you too?!
