Chapter 11

I decide to continue my search for Ashley. I see her staggering with the brunette she sat beside when we came here. She turns around and locks her lips with the brunette girl and the brunette girl kisses her back and she giggles. Okay... Kelly calm down.. I never knew Ashley was a lesbian not that it's any of my business but still.

I walk over to them.. "Uhh.. excuse me. Ash we have to go" I say. "No.. you go. I'm not going anywhere" she says. "Come on Ash.. let's go back to our room. The party or initiation is over" I say as I try to grab her hand and help her home she slaps my hand away. "Ouch!" I yelp. "It's fine I'll bring her back myself" the brunette girl says in a husky voice. "Oh" I say "Yeah it's fine.. I got her" she says "Do you know our room number?" I ask her "Block B room 306" she says "Okay" I say and find my way back to my room. I walk past Scott who's talking to a red haired girl he tells her something in her ear and she giggles I roll my eyes and shake my head at them. Scott sees me but I continue walking.

I'm now on the sidewalk leading to my hostel block. "Hey Kelly" a familiar voice says and I see Scott jugging to catch up with me. "Hey" I say. "Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?" He asks "You were busy and I didn't want to ruin your conversation with that red haired girl" I say and he laughs a little. "You wouldn't have ruined anything" he says. "It seems like I've been running into people I shouldn't and I've seen things I shouldn't have seen" I say and he chuckles. "What did you see?" He asks.

"Well.. I walked into two people having sex and I saw Ashley making out with a girl. So yeah.. I have seen things I shouldn't see" I say and Scott laughs at me. "What?" I ask him with a confused expression. "This is college what did you expect?" He asks me with a hint of amusement on his face as we keep walking. "I don't know but, this wasn't what I expected from my college experience" I say. "Well.. like I said before this is college and everyone here is an adult and is expected to make decisions for themselves without anyone meddling in their business" Scott says "So you mean anyone can do anything?" I ask.

"Yeah.. except doing anything that directly affects the school. Like vandalising school property or engaging in physical combat or committing murder" he says and for some seconds I'm surprised at what he says. "So people can have sex?" I ask "Sure.  As long as both parties consent to it and it's not a case of rape it's fine" he says.

"Okay" I say as we get to my room door. "Thanks for walking me back to my room" I say "It's fine.. and it's a pleasure to do that" he says with a smile. "Goodnight then" I say "Yeah.. goodnight" he says and I walk into my room and close my door.
