Chapter 68

Adrian looks at her and then at her phone and the flyer.

"Oh I didn't know you could act Kelly" Scott says as he reads through the flyer but Kelly doesn't respond to Scott as she shoots Jake a text back.

"Kelly?" Ashley says to Kelly and Adrian clenches his jaw as he sees Kelly still texting and smiling.

"Earth to Kelly!" Ashley says louder and Kelly nearly drops her phone.

"Huh?" Kelly says to Ashley "You just zoned out" Ashley says.

"Uhmm sorry I--" Kelly hardly finishes her sentence when Adrian cuts her off

"Texting your boyfriend" Adrian says and Kelly looks at him surprised.

"Yes.. I was. Is something wrong?" Kelly asks as everyone looks at her.

"Nothing is wrong Kelly we just wanted to know if you'll be going for the audition?"Scott says.

"There's no need for her to be auditioned. It's not like she can act anyway" Adrian says coldly to Kelly and Kelly's heart drops.

Ashley smacks Adrian on his arm "Don't pay any attention to Adrian.. you should try it out and see you might just get the role" Ashley says to Kelly.

"Naaa.. there's no need". Kelly says to Ashley "And Adrian I wasn't gonna audition for it anyway" Kelly says to Adrian with a scowl.

"That's perfect.. because you might just end up making a fool of yourself" he says harshly to her and Kelly fumes.

"D*ck" Kelly says to Adrian angrily as she stands up and begins to walk away.  Scott spews out his drink and laughs at Adrian.

Adrian pushes his plate of food on the table  angrily and sticks his tongue in his cheek

Ashley shakes her head at Adrian. "You just had to annoy Kelly again didn't you?" Ashley asks Adrian who has a frown on his face he doesn't look at her nor answer her.

Kimberly simply observes what's happening without saying a word.

Ashley glances at her watch "I gat to get going" Ashley says "Me too" Kimberly says and they both leave.

Leaving Adrian and Scott at the table.

"Adrian.. what's your deal with Kelly?" Scott asks Adrian and Adrian doesn't say anything to him

"I know I've asked you this question before but I gat to ask again. Why are you like this to Kelly?" Scott asks again Adrian simply looks away without responding to Scott

"Wait.. Adrian do you like Kelly?" Scott asks him and Adrian scoffs

"Please Scott.. she's not my type of girl and you know it. And you also know I don't do relationships" Adrian says

"So you don't like her?" Scott asks "Nope.. she's.. she's just.. I don't know" Adrian says to Scott.

"Hmmm.." Scott says while thinking "So that means I have a chance with her" Scott says to himself and Adrian looks at him

"What?. You don't like her right?" Scott says.

"Fuck off" Adrian tells him and he laughs.

"I know she has a boyfriend but, relationships are meant to be broken right? So that means I have a chance with Kelly" Scott says to himself smugly

"Get over yourself Scott and stop talking nonsense" Adrian says and stands up from his chair as Scott follows him.

"You'll see Adrian.. I'll get Kelly" Scott says trying to irritate Adrian and Adrian glares at Scott who only laughs at Adrian's angry face.
