Chapter 29

He then reaches for my laptop and he sees the movie I just watched. "You watch.. romance movies" he chuckles a little as I snatch my laptop from my bed. "Lame" he scoffs. "It's lame to people like you who know nothing about love!" I say to him. "Really?" He asks me with a smirk.

"Really!.. all you do is have one night stands with random girls you don't do long term relationships and you certainly don't know anything about romance" I say to him with a smug look. He stands up from my bed and starts walking towards me. "Then show me" he says as he continues to walk towards me I gulp and start to walk back "Shh.. show you what?" I stutter "Show me how to love.. show me what romance really is" he says to me as he towers above me traping me between his arms. "I.. don't understand" I say to him. 

"Oh.. but you do. You were just telling me how I don't know about love or romance so I want you to show me" he says lowering his gaze at me and looking directly into my eyes his green eyes look as though they're piercing into my soul. "I..." I begin to say before the room door opens and Ashley walks in with Kimberly.

They both stare at us for some seconds as I go under Adrian's arms. "Ash.." I say as I go to sit on my bed. "What's up Adrian?" Kimberly asks Adrian. "I'll see you later babe" Kimberly says to Ashley as she gives her a quick kiss on her lips

"Yeah Bye Adrian, bye Kelly" Kimberly says "Bye babe" Ashley says as Kimberly leaves the room.

"I came for that stuff" Adrian says. "Oh okay" Ashley says and she goes to search for something in her wardrobe she pulls out a bulky envelope and hands it over to Adrian and I look at both of them suspiciously.

"Thanks Ash.. I'll send it to you" Adrian says to Ashley. "Yeah" she says. "Later" he says to Ash and winks at me before he leaves the room.

"Okay what's going on?" I ask Ashley as after Adrian shuts the door.  "It's just business" she says "What business?" I ask her "It's nothing you should be worried about okay?" She says. "Really?" I ask "Yeah.. really it's nothing" she says as she comes to sit on my bed I give her a skeptical look. "So what's up?" She says trying to change the topic.

"Nothing really. I just finished watching a movie before Mr douchebag walked in" I scoff and Ashley laughs. "You know Adrian isn't really a bad person if you get to know him" she says and I roll my eyes at her and she laughs again.

"You know.. I've been thinking about what you said earlier and I've decided to take my relationship with Jake to another level. A more romantic level I mean.. he's my fiance and our relationship should be more passionate" I say and she stares at me her expression blank. "Do I make sense?" I ask her as I stop talking. "Yes you do Kell. You really should take your relationship to another level with Jake" she says to me with a smile. "Okay" I say and she chuckles a little. "What's funny?" I ask her. "It's just that.. you're cute and you make me wish I had a sister... A younger sister" she says. "Awwwnnn" I say and I hug her she's taking aback by my hug at first but she relaxes eventually. We pull out of the hug. "Thanks" I say to her "Yeah" she says to me staring into thin air. "Ash.. is something wrong?" I ask her she snaps out of her thoughts "Huh?.. it's nothing. I'm fine" she says "Okay" I say and I stare at her there's something wrong with Ashley.."I'll just go and take a shower" she says and leaves the room.
