Chapter 31

I  walk into class and take a sit beside a boy with brown fade cut hair wearing a pair of nerdy glasses. He looks cute with some freckles on his face and his pink thin lips. "Hi" he says to me with a smile.

"Hi" I respond to him as I take my sit. "My name's Raymond but you can call me Ray" he says. "Hi Ray my name's Kelly" I say to him with a smile.

"So you're new to this class because I've never seen you here before" I say to him. "Yeah.. I switched majors. I was supposed to study Banking and finance but I discovered that's not my thing. I prefer Arts, literature and history" he says. "Okay.. that's nice" I say to him and he smiles shyly.

Classes start and I'm so relieved that Adrian isn't in class. The professor is explaining the Themes in Romeo and Juliet.

"So class the major theme in Romeo and Juliet is love--" he is cut short when Adrian walks into the class "Ugh" I scoff and I curse my luck that Adrian decided to come to class after skipping classes for two weeks.

"Mr Fernandez.. you're late and you've skipped classes" the professor says.

"Yeah...I know that" he says arrogantly and I feel so irritated. What does Adrian think of himself.

He walks towards me and pauses for a few seconds his eyes turning dark for some split seconds when he locks eyes with Ray and Ray looks directly at him as well and then his eyes turn to me and he smirks and winks at me.

I can't help but gag at him and he chuckles silently and walks past us.

The class goes smoothly without Adrian creating a scene and I feel really relieved.

"Hey.." Ray says as the professor leaves the class. "Hey" I respond to him. "Maybe when you're less busy we could hang?" He asks me. "Sure" I respond and he gives me a warm smile before walking out of the class.

"Pffff!! So that's your choice?.. pathetic" Adrian says from behind me as he stops at my side and I roll my eyes at him and turn around to leave the class when he holds my hand and pulls me back to himself and our bodies are pressed together. My eyes widen in shock.

"Let go of me Adrian!" I yell at him. And he chuckles and lets me go. "You're crazy!" I say to him and hurry out of class.

"Miss Edwards?" A young girl with bright eyes and Dutch braided hair says to me.

"Yes" I respond to her.. "Someone's here to see you" she says and I look at her with surprised expression.

"Huh?.." I ask her. "He's over there" she says pointing at Hawkins and I follow her arm and see Jake. My eyes widen in surprise and I excitedly rush to Hawkins.

"Jakee!" I shriek and hug him he hugs me back and chuckles.

"Oh my God! You didn't tell me you were coming.." I say to him. "Yeah.. I wanted to surprise you Kelly.. I missed you" he says and I blush.

"I missed you too Jakey" I say to him with a smile and he chuckles again.
