Chapter 72

I walk into the other room and I see her clothes still laying on the floor and I remember the scene from the bathroom. Kelly is really messing with my mind.

I decide to take her clothes with me before walking back to my own room.

Kelly's Pov

I knock on Adrian's door but there's no response so I try to open the door and it opens. I walk in and I don't see him.

"Adrian?" I say still I don't hear anything. I decide to walk into his room and I hear the sound of his shower on.

"Adrian! Are you in there?" I ask and the shower stops running. "Kelly?" He says my name from behind the bathroom door.

"Yes.." I answer him and then he doesn't say anything again.

After a few minutes the door opens and Adrian walks out of the bathroom in his boxer briefs and wet hair.

I know that the natural thing to do will be to turn around or run out of his room but my feet just won't move as I'm lost in his body.

I have seen him shirtless before but Damn! This is nothing like I've seen before.

I push those thoughts out of my mind. Now is not the time for that. What was I thinking? I'm here for something else.

"Kelly?" Adrian says bringing me out of my thoughts so I compose myself the best I can before I speak.

"Adrian.. what was that stunt you pulled in the bathroom?" I ask him in a stern voice even though my heart is still pounding.

"What stunt?" He asks pretending like he doesn't know what I'm talking about

"Don't play smart with me Adrian... You know well what I'm talking about!" I say trying to sound as serious as I can and he only laughs a little.

"You think it's funny?.. I have a fucking fiance Adrian! Why did you do that?" I say raising my voice a little. He doesn't say a word to me instead he advances towards me.

"No! Stay back Adrian!" I say but he keep walking towards me. "I'm... Warning you" I say my voice becoming small.

He takes out his hand and I jump a little as he picks up his shirt from the standing hanger.

He looks at me and laughs shaking his head. "Kelly there's no need to pretend you don't want me" Adrian says before putting on his shirt.

"No Adrian! I don't.. just.. stop Adrian. Nothing can ever happen between us.." I say and he raises his brow at me

"After what happened today in the bathroom" I say and he smirks at me.

"Let me make something clear.. I have a fiance and I love him very much and you're no match for him and whatever happened in the bathroom will never repeat itself" I say and he has an amused expression.

"I'm serious Adrian!" I say to him and he puts up his hands in surrender.

"Okay babe.. whatever helps you sleep at night" he says "And no calling me 'babe' or any other thing apart from my name Kelly" I say and he stifles his laugh.
