Chapter 129

"No Ash.. it's fine.. you don't have to" I say "Kelly.." Ashley says "Ashley it's fine.. you really don't have to. I'll call you when I get to Colorado" I inform her and give her a hug

"Okay Kelly.. bye" Ashley says "Bye Ash" I say to her I say as I head out the door

"Kelly.." Adrian says to me and I walk past him and leave the school

Adrian's POV

I just watched her leave. We were all supposed to go back tomorrow but she decided to leave today and it's all because of me.

Kelly gets to the airport and in a short time she boards the plane going back to Colorado

A few hours later

Kelly's already in a taxi on her way back home. She didn't inform her parents she'll be coming home today that's why she's going home in an airport taxi

As Kelly looks out the window the song "Heat waves" by Glass animals starts to play in the taxi and the song affects her very much as she starts to cry silently

Kelly's POV

I don't know why this song is getting to me so much.. is it because it's a love song and this is the beginning of my summer holidays? Or is because this song reminds me of a certain someone who I'm having a hard time hating? 

I'm trying so hard to hate Adrian but the frustrating thing is that I don't actually hate him I'm just hurt. I don't know why I can't hate him. What's wrong with me?.. how can I not hate Adrian after placing a bet on me? Does this mean I'm really cheap like Sasha said? Am I so stupid?

I hate this I just hate this stupid feeling and this song playing right now isn't making it any better for me.

The taxi stops in front of Kelly's house gate but it's unable to go in due to security measures

Kelly climbs out of the taxi and the taxi driver drives off

Kelly walks closer to the gate and a security guard sees her "welcome home madam" he says as he presses the remote for the gates to open for Kelly and she walks into the drive way which is quite a distance to the main building of her father's house

She walks down the path leading to her house and she's lost in thoughts and eventually she gets to the door of her father's house

She sighs and rings the bell as a maid opens the door for her "welcome madam" the maid says to Kelly "oh my God!.. Kelly?" Kelly's mother says as she walks up to Kelly

"You're welcome home honey" her mother beams "thank you Mom" Kelly says to her mother with a smile

As she goes inside with her mom "where's Dad?" Kelly asks "Your Dad isn't home he's at work" her mother says to her "okay" Kelly says

"You should have informed us you were coming home we would have come to pick you up" her mother says
