Chapter 105
"Adrian.. you need to show Kelly how sorry you are.. you need to prove to Kelly that you're really sorry and you're willing to change" Raymond says "but how?" Adrian asks in frustration
"I've tried to reach out to her but she isn't taking any of my calls or replying to any of my texts" Adrian says
"Well.. you have to do more then.. do something I don't know big or something that would show that you're really sorry for what you did" Raymond advices
"I don't know what to do.. I just.." Adrian trails off
"You should woo her back to yourself and treat her better this time" Raymond says and Adrian sighs
"Don't worry.. you'll think of something.. I know you will" Raymond says
"You know sometimes you talk like an old man" Adrian says teasingly to his cousin and he chuckles
"Really?" Raymond says "yeah" Adrian says with a small chuckle
"Well..if you say so" Raymond says as they both continue with their breakfasts
Scott pulls up at Ashley's apartment
"Hey" Ashley says nervously "uhh.. hi Ash.. I just wanted to say that yesterday.." Scott says but is cut off by Ashley
"It's fine Scott.. it's okay. I.. need some time" Ashley says "oh.. okay.. take your time Ash.. I'm in no rush" Scott says as his heart beats faster
"Okay" Ashley breathes out and an awkward silence falls in the car as Scott drives Ashley to work
Scott's POV
I kinda knew Ashley will say this. And I'm willing to give her the time she needs even though I'm scared. I'm scared that Ashley will shy away from me or she won't be free with me anymore.
Did I do the wrong thing by expressing my feelings to Ashley have I screwed everything up between I and Ash?
Ashley glances at Scott who's deep in thoughts. She looks away as her heart races. She doesn't know why she's feeling this way towards Scott
Scott pulls up at Ashley's office "thanks for the ride uhh.. don't pick me up this evening Scott" Ashley says "huh? Why?" Scott asks "I.. I'll be going back home with a colleague" Ashley says "okay" Scott says "yeah.." Ashley says awkwardly before turning around to go into her office
"I knew this would happen.. now Ash is beginning to avoid me.. damn!" Scott says as he panics
"Ashley.. the advertising manager would like to see you" a lady working in Ashley's office says "okay" Ashley says as she heads for the office of the manager
"Good morning" Ashley greets the middle ages woman
"Ashley McCauley" the woman says "yes Ma'am" Ashley says
"Have a sit" she says to Ashley with a smile and Ashley sits down
"I must say you are very talented young woman with a lot of potential" the woman says to Ashley as Ashley stays quiet listening to the woman
"That's why we've decided to seek your permission to add your art works to our collection this summer" the woman says and Ashley looks surprised
"Miss McCauley.. your work deserves exposure and this company is willing to give you that" the woman says to Ashley
Ashely beams with happiness "of course Ma'am.. the company has my permission only on one condition though" Ashley says and the woman squints at Ashley
"My name would be acknowledged along with my work for the collection" Ashley says "of course Miss McCauley" the woman says
"Then you have my permission" Ashley says "very well Miss McCauley" the woman says to Ashley with a pleased smile
"Excuse me" Ashley says as she leaves the office of the manager.
She smiles with happiness as she leaves the woman's office overwhelmed with Joy.
"Hi Tae" Sasha says to Gangtae as he gets out of practice "Sash" Gangtae says as Sasha pulls him into a hug making Gangtae kinda surprised at her behavior
