Chapter 170
"Where are you coming from Gloria?" Mr Anderson asks his wife as she walks through the mansion doors.
"I went to see my son Jack" Mrs Anderson replies her husband nonchalantly
"Really? And you had to give him everything you have? All of your assets to that.. disgrace of a son?!" Mr Anderson says raising his voice and Mrs Anderson stops in her track when he says that
"That's enough Jack!.. that's enough already. Haven't you punished him enough?.. huh?.. do you want him to die because he's gay?!" She asks her husband as she raises her voice louder than he did.
"I'm trying Jack.. I'm trying to still keep my family together. Jake is my son!.. I love him and I'm definitely not abandoning him all because of his sexuality. If you don't care about Jake then don't.. but leave me alone to take care of my son and look out for him. I'm really tired and I'll need to rest now Good evening" she says to her husband and goes upstairs leaving a dumbfounded Mr Anderson behind

Jake walks into Allison's apartment
"Babe.. I'm home!" He says as he shuts the door "yes hun" Allison says as he walks downstairs
"Welcome home" Allison says as he hugs Jake and gives him a sweet kiss and Jake breaks the kiss "come and have a sit with me. I've got something to tell you" Jake says "oh.. how did it go with your mom and her lawyer? Is everything okay with her?" Allison asks in a worried voice
"That's what I want to tell you about" Jake says as he guides Allison to sit beside him on the sofa

Everyone settles down in awkward silence at the beach to eat dinner. Gangtae decides to break the silence "this barbecue is really nice dude" Gangtae says "yeah it is Adrian" Sasha says and she immediately shuts her mouth remembering that she's not really in good terms with everyone at the table right now
"Thanks" Adrian simply says to her and she gives him a nervous smile as Kelly watches her intently. She avoids Kelly's eyes and goes back to eaten her barbecue
"Kelly how's your training going?.." Gangtae asks Kelly and Kelly looks at him with a surprised look
"It's.. going well Tae.. thanks for asking. The feedbacks I'm getting is really encouraging" Kelly says to him
"Okay that's really good Kelly" Gangtae says "my girlfriend is super smart and talented" Adrian says smugly and kisses Kelly on her cheek which makes Kelly beam
"Sure" Scott says to Adrian and laughs a little. Sasha sits in silence as everyone starts to talk about different things leaving her completely out of the discussions.
She watches how Adrian treats Kelly with so much love and her stomach twists as tears brim in her eyes. She clenches her hand in a fist and stands up suddenly before walking back to the house
Everyone stops talking as they watch her walking back. Adrian shrugs and goes back to talk to Kelly.
Scott sighs but talks to Ashley however Gangtae stands up and follows after Sasha
"Does Gangtae like Sasha?" Ashley asks Adrian looks at Ashley as Ashley looks at Scott
"Uhh.. yeah he does.." Scott says and Adrian furrows his brows "what?" Adrian asks Scott "yeah.. Gangtae is in love with Sasha" Scott says and Adrian looks confused so does Kelly.
"Wow!.. love is indeed blind" Ashley says before sipping from her cup of wine
"Well.. we can't control our hearts and who our hearts chooses to love" Scott says "yeah true" Ashley replies
"Anyway.. that's good" Adrian says and Kelly still stays silent. "Was Sasha the girl Gangtae told me about on campus?" Kelly asks herself as the others continue to eat and chat

"Sasha you promised.." Gangtae says "I tried Tae.. but I can't okay?" Sasha says "why?" Gangtae asks her "because.. because of Adrian and Kelly.. that's why. Seeing them all loved up hurts me Tae.. I.. I'm not sure I can stand seeing them together. It's so much torture to see them that way Tae. I'm sorry to disappoint you but I can't anymore" Sasha says
"Sasha.. you need to let Adrian go and I'm not saying this because I have feelings for you. I'm saying this for your own good Sash.. you can't keep hurting yourself like this. You should move on with your life. And true love is when you're able to see the one you love happy even if they're with someone else Sash" Gangtae says and Sasha looks at him before she starts to cry and he hugs her
"It's.. so hard Tae.. so so hard" she says as she sobs "I know Sash.. but you'll be fine I promise" he says to her and she nods her head in agreement.
