Chapter 70 The One

       "You are a trouble seeker"

She said and I made a mean face sticking my tongue out to her

   "Thanks bae,you can say that again"

I responded and scooped the last squash on my plate into my mouth. I stood up and took the plate to the dishwasher and put it there. I pulled a serviette and wiped my mouth and trashed it. 

    "I leaving the kitchen,you can follow me or choose to stay here"

I said,leaving the kitchen

  "Baby don't be like that"

She said tagging along

"Be like what?"

I asked her still walking

    "Don't be this way now. Okay I will tell you"

She said and I jumped mentally.

"Yes "

    I said in a way she will not hear it

   I made sure I put on an expressionless face, I turned and face her

 "Okay spill it'

   I said folding my hands on my chest. I could not help but to arch a brow at the expression I saw on her face. She looks looks someone who is about getting killed. I have known Nora for a very long time now but not for once have I seen this expression. It could be something new,after all, it takes one time to start something

   "See Nora if it's not okay for you to tell me,don't tell me, okay, I understand"

I said and she sighed

   "It's not like that. It just what I am feeling it might be a figment of my soul"

 She said and pouted her lips

"What do you be figment of your soul?"

I asked

    "I have been searching for my mate for two centuries now but he seems nowhere to be found"

She said and I stared at her. For once I never thought this could be Nora

 "Okay, why can't you find him?"

I asked getting ready to hear more of what she has to say

   "Don't know but I believe he is out there"

She said and continue,

"But I met a human today and ever since then my body has been reacting in an unusual way"

    "What way?"

I ask.

    I thought I have heard enough to day but here Nora is about feeding my already filled ears.

     I caught feelings , Gina which is not supposed to be.

"Why is that not supposed to be?

I asked her getting more confuse.

    "I am not supposed to have feelings for any guy expect my mate"

She replied palming her forehead

     "What if he is the one"

I asked her

"He can't be the one "

She replied and I even got more confused

"Why can't he be"

    "He is a normal human but I am witch not only a witch but an ancient witch and my mate should be a witch as well

She said and I understood where she is heading to. Destiny can be funny,match making in an unusual way.

    "Nora don't conclude yet, you don't know what the universe have something in store for you. You can never tell,it might be destiny finding it way to you. Who knows it might be your long searching mate"

I said to her and pinched her cheek,

   "Just don't scare the guy away with your witchy stuff and let time take charge"

I said

"Thanks baby. Maybe I should just roll with him and see how it goes"

  She said and smiled at her

     "That's the spirit, smile for your queen"

I said playfully and her grin became wider.

" Offcouse if I don't smile for the queen who else will I smile for.  All these smiles and more to come are for you, your highness."

She smiled and bowed slightly

Nora's point of view..........

      The world really got a jewel, we don't deserve her but yet Universe gave her to us in a platate of gold. I am the luckiest person on Earth because I got to be a godmother to the world most expensive person. She got a heart of gold and could do anything for you.. she was just acting up,she was not really angry when I was not ready to tell her what's up. 

      I needed to talk to someone about this and she was the only one I got here. Ben has asked me out. I was about declining his request when he adamantly said I have to say yes or he will not let me out of the car. With the look on his face,I knew he was dead serious. I had to accept to go out with him.

     I hope this so going to be a good thing.

 "Let's go see a movie"

Gina said bringing me back to reality

"Okay"

I said and followed her

    Half way to the living room,the door bell rang and Nora froze on her track. Her mom don't visit or it might be her neighbor, Oliver

I was contemplating whether to go open the door when she stopped me and moved  with a speed I did not know she got towards the door.
