Chapter 82 He is taken

Gina's point of view......

    My mood has being on the swing ever since Chris left.The whole place felt so empty. Since I was doing nothing,I decided to go over to Tiana's place. I was supposed to be there by now but with this mood of mine,doing anything good will be impossible but I have to be myself because he will be fine,he has to.

   I talked to Nora not quite long time ago,she is indeed a friend.

     I stood up from the couch and went inside my bedroom. I picked a light blue jeans and greyish top. I got myself inside the clothes and wore my blue flat sandels. I checked my appearance,the face is not appealing but the body is good to go. I tried to smile but failed.

     I picked up my purse and strolled out of the room heading to the main door. I locked up, after I am done locking the door I turned and saw Oliver grinning at me.

"I see you are going out huh?"

She asked and I nodded my head.

"All good then but you seems not to be in a good mood,what happened to you...are you sick or tired,which one?"

     If Oliver should know the kind of mood I am in at the moment,she will not dare to bug me with questions. I was starting to get angry.

"Oliver, I am fine"

I said and brushed pass her. When did Oliver started to get interested on things going on in my life. She has not for one day asked me how I am doing but suddenly, she started getting close to me, trying to poke her nose where she is not supposed.

"Well I am just concerned about you that's all because you don't look good at all"

She said coming after me. I shook my head and answered.

    "Thanks Oliver for your concern but I am perfectly fine, okay"

I said and made to leave but she said something I was not expecting from her and it's dawned on me.

"Ok! I was just wondering who that handsome I have seen in your apartment is?

She sneakily said. I thought as much. It's because of Chris huh? Nosey neighbor.

   I turned towards her and smirked,I am not rude but when you meddle in my affairs. You will see the other side of me.

 "He is my boyfriend"

I replied her and she widened her eyes. That's right,she should know that so that she will not think he is out for chase.

"Oh my!"

She exclaimed, covering her mouth,

"I am so sorry,I thought he is a brother of yours"

"I see"

I uttered, raising my brows

"Well bad for you he is taken forever"

I said moving towards her and she continued stepping back

   "Okay okay, I am off him,he is all yours. I thought he was off the hook so that I could have him"

She said and continued stepping back. Humans and their little brain. All these was because of Chris. Bad for her because she can't have him.

     I stopped on my track and stared at her

"Well bye Oliver,catch you later"

I said and turned away from her. This girl  have the nerve to think she has what it takes to be Chris's bae. She should come let me give her a hand and she will see how it is. I chuckled and continued on my way.

     Well since Tiana's place is walkable I decided to walk maybe before I get to her place, my mood might have clear by then.

      I continued walking greeting every one that came by way. I was liking the breath of fresh on my skin,at that moment it seems it's going to be okay, everything.

  I came by a little boy of a eight years on his own, drawing on the ground,the boy was damn cute. I smiled at the beauty that was bestowed upon him. I got to where he is and he looked up at me and smiled. He has a beautiful eyes and you could continue staring at his eyes without looking away.

    "Hi I am mason"

He said extending his hand towards me,I took it and I squeezed it a little and smiled at him.

  "I am Gina"

I replied him with a charming smile

    "This is not your smile,stop faking it"

He said and smiled at me,I was confused.

  "What do you mean dear?"

I asked, bending to his eye level. 

"I mean that our lips can lie but our eyes can't lie because they are the window to our souls."

 He said and I understood what he meant. This was one of my favorite quotes back then. A little boy with such wisdom.
