ONE NIGHT

Nora is one person who things can't pass by without her noticing it. I called her and she was able to figure out I was not at home. I wanted to tell her about Tiana but I did not know how she will take it. I guess tomorrow I will let her know.

I dropped the call and I noticed Tiana has been staring at me. I arched a brow at her and she sighed.

I answered, stressing the letter A. Well I should not be surprise that she knows her,witches are not many like humans so every witch knows another.

"She is a long time friend more like a sister. I am so aware that she lives around"

She said and I wondered if Nora is aware too

"I don't think so,I had to canceal myself"

"Well she is your godmother and I am your guardian, so we being seen together in one place will draw attentions from forces"

"I could not let that happen so I stayed away. Nora is one crazy witch that loves you like no other,it's a pity fate does not want to give her her mate."

I said toying with the phone in my hand,heaven helps me if it falls.

"Yeoa..she is indeed a great friend,I guess it's time to say hello to her. She will be so happy so see me"

She said and I detect a mix of sadness and happiness from her voice. I Wonder why she so behaving this way? Maybe there is more to this story but I don't want to prey on it so I will let it slide.

I said, agreeing with her. My stomach growls and I remembered the main reason we came here but first I have to call Mom.Tiana chuckled and made to go.

"Hold on a little while let me call my mom"

"Okay but while you are at it, let me go fix us late lunch or should I say semi dinner"

She said and I smiled. She has a sense of humour.

I replied hoping, Mom will pick as soon as possible

Tiana left leaving only me,the phone rang again and Mom picked it up. Why did it take her long to pick up?

"You have been silent for a while and a lot happened and you did not care to let your mom know,when did you become this secretive huh?"

she said ending with a question,I got confused. A lot?,I am sure she knows everything going on in my life or did something happened that I am not aware of.?

"Mom what are you talking about?"

I asked. she stayed silent for a while

"You reunited with your mate and you did not let me know. Did I offend you in any way"

She said sounding sad. I was shocked,how did she find out?. I planned telling her tomorrow. menh! I have a lot tagged tomorrow.

"I am sorry Mom I did not mean it that way,I planned telling you tomorrow."

I replied, hoping she will understand. she sighed.

"You also did not plan telling me about Tiana your guardian hm?"

she said more like she is tired of my childish behavior.

I said stressing the letter A hoping to lighten her mood

"You know me too well to judge me so quickly,I was going to tell you everything"

"Offcouse I know you,I just wanted to confirm if you are still my daughter. I want to see both of you tomorrow,there is a new development. Until then, bye."

she said and the phone went silent,she had cut the call. I wondered what the new development is all about,well I don't think it's something bad. Until tomorrow then,I am not going to think about any thing.

I muttered to myself. It's been my tradition since I was a kid,I always send silent greetings to my mom. It brings me closer to her each time I do that.

"Have a good night rest,may tomorrow brings us the peace will sick"
