Chapter 99 Bond Connection
She flicked her eyelid open and caught me staring,I chuckled at the expression that settled on her face and drained the last drop on the teacup and set it back on the tray.
"Is there something on my face?
She asked calmly
"Nope, nothing on your face"
I replied with a grin
"Is that so,if that's the case. why are you staring at me?"
"Well I find you attractive and I would have love to....to..emmm.. ..."
Something growls in me and I was not able to continue my statement,I clutched on my neck trying to easy myself of the burning sensation. Tiana saw how uncomfortable I was looking and covered her mouth with her hands like she knows something. I was trying to search her face to see if I could find a clue to what is happening to me.
She rushed to me and started muttering something under her breath. Within a space of time I got my self and calmed down.
The burning sensation stopped and I exhaled, Tiana kept staring at me to see if I have gotten myself. I took a deep breath and relaxed back on the couch.
"Are you okay now?"
She asked with a look of concern all over her face.
"Yes I am fine now. What was that all about?"
I asked.
"Your inner witch was angry at you"
she said and sat beside me
"At me,why?"
I asked confused. How can self go against self?
"Mates are protective of their mates,She was angry because you found me attractive and went head telling me that.They hate it when you say stuff like that to others. She was jealous that's why you could not finish up your statement"
I was dumbfounded when she said all that,I was only joking....Can't I appreciate another?.
"But I am my inner self and my inner self is me so how was it possible for her to go against me?”
"That's true but your inner self is more connected to Chris than you"
She said and I said okay indicating that I understood even though I did not understand..Indeed my being is complex. I sighed.
"And again there is something I want to let you know,you worry so much about Chris.You should not be because you will get to know when he is in trouble"
She said and my eyes lits up
"Really,like I will feel it?"
I asked and she nodded,
"So since I felt no danger sign since he left that means he is okay"
I said. Pew that's a relief.
"Yeap and you will know what to do at that time"
She said and I creased a brow. With the way she said it,it was more like that something is bound to happen.
"What do you mean I will know what to do. Is he going to be in danger?"
I asked panicking. She hesitated before answering me. With that singular act,I knew something was going to come up
"No, he is not going to be in trouble,I was just trying to tell that you don't need to worry about his safety because you will get to know if he is in trouble or not"
She said even though I chose to believe her,I know what she said was not entirely the truth But then I did not want to press the matter further.
"Don't look at me like that. while we wait for midnight to come,I will teach you have to communicate with Chris using bond connection"
I smiled at her,*don't look at me like that* has become an important phrase in my life. Everyone uses it to address me almost every moment of the day.Well it because I know how to look at someone,it's funny but I scrutinize alot.
"Bond connection,what's that?"
I asked.
"It's a means in which witches communicate with their mates if they are not together"
She answered
I was not aware that there is anything called bond connection. In as much as I want to hear Chris's voice I want to see him as well. The funny thing is I have not called him on the phone since he left and even if it try,its like calling someone in the past because going to South you are literally going back in the time.
From what I read in high school,Country South does not exist at all but it's actually exist, isn't confusing.You making attempt to go to country will be like taking a trip back to the past. But in actuality,South exist. Magic they say,is uncomprehendible. So if you try to understand,you might not understand at all. So however you see it,you take it that way.
