Chapter 89 Lesson full day
Gina's point of view.........
I was lost, crossing checking the ingredients that I did not realise that Tiana has been talking to me all this while until she tapped me on the shoulder and I jotted back to reality.
"Lesson no 1....don't get carried away in other not to give your enemies edge over you"
She said and patted me gently on the back and I smiled sheepishly at her.
"We have to leave this for later,let's go see if you still remember how to handle the sword"
She said and worked over to the magic wall, indicating I should follow her,I dropped whatever I was holding and walked over to her and together we went to the basement.
It was exactly how I last saw it and if I should tell you that I am not moved by the way things are arranged here,I will be a liar then.
She muttered something under her breath and the sword came into view.
"Someone was here"
She said, sniffing around and I arched a brow. Who could that be?.
"Who?"
I asked with a creased brows,I had to be creasing my brows lately
"I can't tell but they came for the sword,maybe this time around you have to keep the sword with you"
She said.
"Why,will it be safe with me?"
I asked with creased brows
"Yes it's perfectly safe with you,as far as it's within your reach no one will tamper with it"
She said yet I was still confused why the sword will be safe with me.
"I can tell from your facial expressions that you have questions regarding why the sword will be safe with you. Well I have been guiding the sword for a century now and the magic protecting is withering....."
She said
"Why is the magic withering?"
I asked
"Well for the fact that the rightful owner is alive and kicking,it's being away from the owner will weaken the magic protecting it. So it's entirely safe with you"
She replied
"Okay"
I said even though I still did not understand
"You are so curious and it's one of the things that made me proud of you"
Tiana said and smiled.
"But curiosity kills the cat,so don't be too curious it could land you in danger.... lesson no 2..."
She said
"Wait what?,is today a lesson full day"
I asked, grinning and she laughed hard. I really like the sound of her laughter.
"Well you can call it that, because you will learn a lot today"
She said amidst laughter and I smiled
"Okay let's get it started,I am eagar to learn"
"Well, don't be too eagar in other not to give your enemies hint of your next plan... lesson no 3"
She said and I made a face at her
"What then should I be"
I asked palming my face.
"You can be anything but don't let it be too much"
She replied and removed the sword from it's shield and the blade glistened. I wowed at the sight of it,it was like something or someone was pulling me towards it. My feet started moving towards Tiana and the sword.
"Don't let it pull you"
I heard her say
"Don't let it control you rather, control it,be it's master not the slave
She continued saying while I continued moving towards her,I swear I wanted to stop but I could not.
"Exhale Gina"
She said yet I continued moving.
"Be the master of your environment,control the elements...let's them subdue to you"
She kept saying. I was not moving on my on accord,it was like I am in a trance and my energy kept draining.
"The sword is you and you are the sword,it's mind is yours so if you let it control you,you will have no will of yours MARIA GINA THEOPHILUS"
She said all in ago. Lightening struck and I dropped to the fall. She dropped the sword and ran to me.
"Are you okay?"
She asked, checking me out from head to toe. I felt so light,like a heavy weight was lifted from me.
"I think so"
I replied, breathing heavily.
"What was that all about and who the hell is Maria?"
"One question at a time"
She said and stood up.
"You are Maria,that's your name,who you are and the hell of what happened,you finally broke away from the curse of the sword"
She said and I stood up from the floor. What the hell is she taking about again. Pew! Will this ever be over?
