Chapter 139 Twist of Game

Nora's point of view.....

    I snuggled closer to Tiana,the warmth that is coming forth from her body is what I needed at the moment.

    "Thanks Tiana for giving me a listening ear,I love you"

   I said and pulled away from her embrace,I kissed her two cheeks and gave her a smiled that's shows I am cool and since I have waited for this long,I have to wait once more.

 "I love you too"

She replied and pinched my cheeks.

  "Anything for you."

   I perceive something and sniffed around,the aroma seems to be coming from the kitchen and it reminded me that I have not had lunch. I decided to use this opportunity to go see my baby,I got the feeling that she is little anger with me.

   "Let me go see what the queen is up to"

I said and Tiana nodded then relaxed on the couch,I left the living to the kitchen.

  I got to the kitchen entrance and the sight that I met was something out of the blues,mom and daughter working out lunch. It was a beautiful sight to behold.

   "Looks who we have got here?"

   I said and moved forward,both of them turned towards my direction, Gina's mom smiled but Gina looked at me and continued with what she was doing when I came into the kitchen. I was right when I said I felt she is angry with me.

    "Come in darling"

Her mother said and beckoened me to come in.

   "Gina and I thought of giving you both space to catch old times so we decided to leave you guys alone."

She said and I smiled my gratitude to her. She dropped the plate she held and winked at me.

   "Over to you,see ya"

     She said and walked out of the kitchen,I love this woman like my own. We get along so well. I am glad she birthed the princess because she deserve every best she could get. Nature compensated her well by giving her the privilege to birth the queen. She went through a lot in her past life.

    I walked over to Gina and hugged her from the back,she did not say a thing but continue dishing out rice into the plates that was lined up in her front,four plates to be precise.

   "Hey! what's with the cold attitude?"

I asked.

    "Nothing Nora?"

She responded coolly and went back to dishing the food.

"Naw! I am not buying that shit. You and I know that something is up. So tell me what did I do wrong darling?"

   I asked and she stopped what she was doing entirely and spinned around facing me. We both were facing each with my hand circled around her waist. I battered my eyes at her and she chuckled.

    "You know I can't stay angry at you,you this snubbing bitch"

    She said and made a mean face. It was my time to chuckled. I know she was putting up fuss but to think she is not angry at me this time I will be damned wrong because I can feel it,she is just trying to cover it up.

    " I am so sorry Gina,I did not mean to snub my queen but seeing Tiana here was overwhelming. I never thought I could see her again"

I explained and her eyes softened.

"I thought you have ditched me over my guardian witch"

She said and I laughed,she was actually behaving like a jealous bitch. There are many sides to this queen.

    "I smell jealousy in the air"

I said and she stuck her tongue at me.

  "Whatever you think is your damn problem. I can't be jealous of Tiana because I got the most amazing lover ever."

  She said and her last statement struck me hard and my mood changed instantly. I pulled apart and she have to stared at me with a surprise expression.

   "Did I say something wrong?"

What a twist of game,not long ago I asked her this question she asked me now. How twist can happen?.

  I tried to brighten up but failed,I gave up and my tears spilled. This is what Gina can do to me, I always end up being the one she consoled instead of the other way around. I am her godmother but I always behave like her goddaughter.

   Mtcheeew to life,how we try to put false facade and tell the world we are okay but we are not. It's when one tells you his/her problem that's when you will know there is actually a problem. It is not written on our forehead. But to think that there are people who actually sense your emotions is heart soothing because you don't need to lie to them for they know everything you go through without being told.
