Chapter 159 Taste for Revenge

    When I said that I might try and see if there something I could do for Xylie,Nora creased her brows and that drew my attentions to her but I pretended not to notice. We both have scores to settle.

     "Okay,I think your mom and I will go have some tour around the mansion,catch you both later"

   Tiana said and I became suspicious of her motive for leaving me with Nora behind,does she know something or what?. I should not be surprised if she does,they don't seems to amaze me anymore.

    "Yes,see you soon dear. But don't get caught in the shadow,we have a wedding to plan"

   Mom said and pulled Tiana to her feet and the both walked out of the garden without giving me time to ask further questions concerning what Tiana said. It was just I and Nora left and I did not know where to start with her,but I have to start somewhere.

     I drew closer to her and stared deep into her eyes.

    "Nora what went wrong?"

    I asked her,she sighed and wipe the tears that I did not realize that was there.This must be serious for her to be in deep sorrow.

    "You can talk to me,I am still your best friend, remember,the one you can share anything and everything with"

I said and gave her hands little squeeze.

    "I am sorry Gina,I know I should not feel this way but I can't help it. I feel like I am responsible for Glamorous's death"

   She said and I kept wondering why.

  "Why would you say something like"

I asked her with deep concern for her.

    "I should have done something when she was getting lost,her taste for revenge landed her where she is today"

    She replied and I felt there is more to this story.

"If you don't mind,can you tell me all I need to know"

I said. She sighed and stared at me.

    "Okay"

She said and pause.

     "Glamorous is my niece,she is your father's cousin sister,that makes her your aunt."

She said and got  speechless,she is my cousin aunt,like for real and she was bent on killing me.,who does that kind of thing?.

    "Wait second,are you saying that it was my paternal grand Uncle and Aunt she used for the ritual?"

   I asked not trying to believe it could actually be true,what am I saying?if she could kill her parents,she could kill anyone.

    "Yes,it was your grand Uncle atn Aunt"

     I pulled my hands from her grip and stood up. Why will Glamorous do such a thing,does she know that what is yours will truly be yours,there is no way you can bribe destiny,that I am sure of.

     What is her gain, darkness?.Where did it land her to, darkness. It was not my fault that she has to die neither is Nora's,she chose a path that did not favoured her.

     "Gina,you can get mad all you want but don't get too mad,it's of no use because no matter how mad you get,they will not be brought back to life because they are happy were they are.

    She said and continue,

    "I felt so bitter when she had to murder your parents because of her selfishness not minding that it was her cousin brother and his mate. When darkness eat deep into your soul,it will cloud your sense of reasoning so I don't blame her at all,if there is something I could do for her to be resurrect back to life and be given a new chance I will do it."

     I am not just mad I am sad that her soul has to waste like that,Killing my parents was not only my lost but hers,the only difference is that I get to feel it but she does not because she had sold her heart even before she began her journey of revenge.

   I spinned around and faced Nora.

 "Aunt, it's never your fault she chose that path,if she ever get a chance at new life,may every goodness that might had elude her come to her, believe me when I said so"

   I said and she smiled,that's more like it. I can't get tired of her smile. And as for her mate finding her,it will not pass this time around...it's a mate hunting season and I, myself will make sure her mate finds her.

    "Remember when I told you we will go on a mate hunt,it's time. Let's get things settled here and we will see to that"

     She beamed and hugged me so tight.

"What will I ever do without you bae"

 "Nothing,we are stuck together, forever"

I said and we laughed heartily.
