Chapter 207 Two Sides Of Life

   I know there are two sides to life,the good and bad side. It's mandatory that life in whichever race must have these two sides. The side we chooses for the world to see is up to us and every sides have it's consequences. You choose to be bad or good irrespective of where you are coming from.

    I was not expecting the former owner of this place to be this kind but then it's what she chose. Don't ever judge anyone without knowing the person,this advice is not only for me but to everyone out there.

    Madam Hailey returned with a tray of bottle water and glass cup, White witches way of welcoming their  follow witches. If you visit a white witch,the first she will do is to get a drink of water for you.

    "Thank you Madam Hailey,you are so kind"

I said and she huffed. She dropped the tray on the center stool and sat down.

    "Please spare me the praise. If I am kind then you are kinder for even honouring my offer."

  You can imagine her telling me I am kinder when I am the one stressing her by coming here.

    "I accept that I am kinder, Ma'am"

I said picking the bottle water. I opened the cap and pour a little inside the glass and I took a sip. I sighed and let the water sink into my system.

    "Thanks for this Madam Hailey"

"Anytime dear"

She said and lingered her stares on me.

    "What's going on with you Nora?,the Nora I know is always with smiles. What happened to you?"

She asked. I dropped the glass and relaxed back on the couch. Where do I start from answering her questions.

    "Nothing,it's still the old me. Nothing has changed."

   I replied,I know she has seen through me but how do I start to explain to her what my problem is.

    "Well I don't want to persuade you to tell me what it is because I believe you are an adult. But whatever it is,it's going to be fine soon. Life has it's thorns and roses, it will be fine."

   She said that and I felt like tearing up. Even after I left under her care she still looked out for me. It's not everyone that could do that for you.

   "Alright,I believe you. Things are going to be fine."

I said and gave her a smile,

  "Sharon has been reconnected with the family"

I said and she did her mouth in "O" shape. I bet you she is damned surprised. The look of surprise on her face was clear.

   "Wow!that's a great news. When was that?"

She said clapping her hands happily and I chuckled.

    "Not long enough,I could not believe she has been in Beverly all along. It's great having her back in the family and the funny part is that she has another family"

    "You don't mean that"

She clapped even more,

"I can't wait to see her. She is such a sweet soul,I know something might have warrant her to do what she did."

   "I know right. It's all in the past now,the most important thing is that we are family now and the future is bright for all of us. Gina is aware too"

   I said beaming. Damnit,I have not admitted this before but for first time,I got to think the future is bright and I believe that too.

   "That's the spirit dear"

Madam Hailey said and I looked at my time. I have stayed long enough,it's getting close to 16:30 and I need to leave now. I don't want a situation I would have to sleep over at Mom Gina's place.

  "I need to leave now,it's quite an honour visiting you after a long period of time. I wished to do this again."

   I said and stood up. She was somewhat sad and I don't blame her. I wished to stay more but I need to leave now.

   "I thought I was going to spend more time with you but it's all good. Looking forward to seeing you next time"

    She said and stood up,

 "You know you can always come here. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if the case maybe. You know I love you as my own and Jack loves you too. Working for the Lord has not given him time,you should understand better. I will try and make him spend some quality time with you like the old time whenever he returns to Beverly"

     "I know all that and I appreciate everything. I would love to spend time with him. My regards to him nevertheless."

   I said and pulled her into a hug.

"Take care of yourself, young lady and my regards to whoever you are visiting"

   She said and I made to tell her that it's Gina's Mom but stopped,why I did not want to tell her is what I don't know.

   I pulled apart and she led me to the door.

"I will do that Ma'am,do take care of yourself for me too. See you when I have to see you."
